MOORGATE LOCK
Assessed to ISO 9001:2008 LPCB Cert No. 516-1 MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS 9 MOORGATE LOCK Auto-deadlocking Twin Hook Deadlock The Moorgate lock is designed for securing sliding or hinged gates, doors and hatches. With two inverted hooks, plus a central horizontal aligning bolt, all three deadlocking to resist a forcible and/or gate lift-off attack threat. Upon closure the stainless steel hooks and bolt automatically engage and deadlock into a heavy-duty protective keep. The Moorgate is a fully stainless steel mechanism, suitable for external hazardous conditions. Scandinavian, Rim and Euro-profile cylinders can be accommodated within the Moorgate lock (Euro-profile standard for mortice installation), dependant on the method of fixing. Bolt-through cylinder guards are available to meet a higher threat of forcible cylinder attack. The modular design provides flexible solutions to suit many site applications. OPERATIONS ENTRY OPTIONS MECHANICAL KEY - external mechanical key and lever handle is used to release the deadlock function and retract the bolting system. ACCESS CONTROL - activating the access control, the device will automatically unlock allowing the user to manually retract all shoot bolts using the lever handle. EXIT OPTIONS EMERGENCY EXIT -single handed means of escape is provided by lever handle. Assessed to ISO 9001:2008 LPCB Cert No. 516-1 MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS Auto-deadlocking Twin Hook Deadlock MOORGATE LOCK In order to meet higher security protection or to secure taller doors and gates, The Moorgate has been designed to provide 5 or 7 point upgraded locking solutions. The modular locking design including additional locking points still offers the Entry/Exit options & features built-in to the standard 3 point centre module. The Moorgate is a fully stainless steel mechanism, suitable for external hazardous conditions. A 5-point engaging version provides additional top and bottom vertical bolt to a standard Moorgate, securing at top and bottom giving greater attack resistance and/or for taller doors. A 7-point engaging version provides additional top and bottom vertical bolt to a standard Moorgate, plus additional auxiliary hooks to be added for greater attack resistance and/or for taller doors. Entry and exit choices include for both key and handle release, or single handle free-exit on one or both sides and are easily selected when ordering (see Ordering Code Build-up overleaf). Key locking secures the handle on the side the cylinder is fitted. Scandinavian, Rim and Euro-profile cylinders can be accommodated within the Moorgate lock (Euro-profile standard for mortice installation), dependant on the method of fixing. Bolt-through cylinder guards are available to meet a higher threat of forcible cylinder attack (tested to LPS 1175 Security Rating SR3 on selected gates). Union cylinders are supplied as standard, with a choice of alternative cylinders from leading manufacturers available.
