A cost effective solution to wheelchair and disabled access in public buildings, this internal vertical platform is suitable for wheelchair with attended use or 6 persons and can accommodate up to 6 landings. All the machinery is enclosed within the lift structure meaning there is no requirement for machine rooms. The lift has been designed to meet British and European building regulations for public and private use. Wheelchair & Passenger Lift (DDA compliant) 400-500kg Models This disabled platform lift has become our core product for wheelchair and disabled access solutions over the last nine years. With a small footprint and minimal building work requirements, this cost effective alternative to conventional passenger lifts has become an increasingly popular solution. Using a nut & screw drive system these lifts are fail safe and reliable with minimum need for servicing. All parts and breakdowns are covered with a 1 year warranty by our partner Jackson Lift Group. For external applications this robust and reliable platform lift has been rated to a minimum of IP54. Any RAL colour can be selected to ensure the aesthetics closely match the surrounding area. Glazed panels are an option for panoramic views. Rated to 400kg, this lift is suitable for wheelchair with attended use or 5 persons. There is no requirement for machine rooms and the lift has been designed to meet British and European building regulations for public and private use. Wheelchair & Passenger Lift (DDA compliant) Designed for external use this vertical platform lift offers a highly configurable solution for wheelchair and disabled access. The 250kg 1 metre step lift is available in through entry and adjacent configurations, making it useful for architectural solutions. A small hydraulic pump and control panel are located in the gate frame (for travels over 400mm) so there is no requirement for an external storage area. Wheelchair & Passenger Step Lifts (DDA compliant) 250kg For a wheelchair disabled access solution, this low rise lift is designed to carry a wheelchair and assistant or 2 persons. Using a hydraulic scissor drive this unit has no requirement for external storage of hydraulic pump and control panel. A more robust design suitable for internal and external use, this lift is fully compliant to Part M and BS6440. For DDA accessibility this lift provides an aesthetically pleasing solution, coming as standard with glazed sides and gate the lift also has stainless steel handrails and a standard colour of RAL 9006. 300kg For a short rise this wheelchair and disabled access step lift is one of the market leaders. Designed and manufactured in Britain, thousands of these lifts are now operating in the UK. 250kg Lift The 300kg 1 metre step lift is also a hydraulic actuator drive. Glazed gate and sides are available on request. As standard the lift is Bleu 700 Sable a fine textured architectural finish providing good durability and colour retention. Available in 2 platform sizes the unit is only available in through entry configuration. 300kg Lift Available in 2 platform sizes, all of which meet Part M, this lift can fit beside most staircases without losing too much width. The lift comes as stardard in colour Bleu 700 Sable, however any RAL or BS colour is available on request. A simple hydraulic scissor action makes this lift easy to setup and install, typically taking less than one day. The 500kg 2 metre option is a robust internal/external type (operation range from -10 to +40) open style platform lift with modern aesthetics with lots of options, just what you would expect from The Platform Lift Company. The modular aluminium construction with stylish side panels and upper & lower gates in powder coated aluminium, makes this lift an architect s dream. Wheelchair & Passenger Step Lifts (DDA compliant) 500kg Using a direct acting hydraulic system this wheelchair and disabled access lift is quiet as well as having a contemporary design. The through entry configuration of the 500kg 3m Step Lift is a new design for the medium travel market. All of the electrical and hydraulic equipment is stored within the gate section, therefore there is no requirement for external storage. Three platform sizes are available; 800mm, 900mm and 1100mm widths (depth is 1400mm on all). All the sizes meet Part M and BS6440:1999. As standard the lift comes in RAL 9006 (silver aluminium), any RAL is available on request. The access solution that takes you further, the new Independence Steplift model raises the user up to a maximum 2 metres while continuing to provide the strength, modern aesthetics and configuration options you expect from The Platform Lift Company. Straight - for a single flight of stairs the straight stairiser provides a cost effective and quick installation solution. The stairiser can be stanchion or wall mounted to suit any type of staircase, various platform sizes are also available if there is not enough room for the 1250 x 800 (Part M requirement). Curved - for landings, 90 degree and 180 degree turns a bespoke curved stairiser is the lift to meet your DDA requirements. Complicated routes can be negotiated including stair winders, storage areas and reduced headroom, our surveying team can measure, design and plot a lift to suit. Straight Run For a single flight of stairs (with no landings) the straight run stairiser is the perfect low cost solution. This inclined lift follows the exact degree of the staircase to ensure the distance from the floor/staircase is constant. Our team of surveyors are on hand to measure your staircase and design a stairiser to suit. With fold away platform and arms this unit is designed to take up as little staircase width as possible, at the same time blend in with the background. Being a simple design and limited parts keep the lifetime cost of the lift to a minimum; rarely do these robust lifts breakdown even with intermittent use. Designed for internal and external use the lift is available in several platform sizes, 1250x800 is the Part M compliant however this can often be too large for a standard staircase (building control dispensation is usually given in this case). Curved Run For multiple staircases or simply for an upper landing or 90 degree turn a curved stairiser must be used. There is no limit to how far the travel distance can be, in fact we have designed and installed one lift for a 10 flight staircase all at 180 degree turns to each other. Our surveyors are on hand to do a free evaluation on whether your staircase is suitable for an inclined stairiser. Wall or stanchion mounted we can find a solution for you. We can negotiate stair winders, limited headroom and turns that are not 90 or 180 degrees. The unit can be ordered in any RAL colour and the rail in various standard colours (on request).
