3. Headlight Removal a. The headlight is held in place by bolts at all the corners and requires an 8mm socket to remove the screws holding the light in place. Bumper removal is not required. b. Once the screws are removed, carefully remove the 9005 and 9006 connectors from the existing bulbs. 4. Headlight Install Re-installing the headlight is similar to installation. The new headlight is held in place by 4 screws (reuse the existing screws). Slide the headlight in, taking note of where the guide rails are. Loosely bolt everything together first before the final tightening. a) Top mounting locations for the headlights should be attached last. b) The back mounting screws are not visible on the photo but are located directly where the arrows are. These bolts should be lined up first. If the bolts do not line up, lower the large mounting knobs a little to make the headlight line up with the body best. c) This is how the headlight should appear when it is completely situated back onto the body of the car with the mounting bracket. Wiring Instructions Should Be Followed Immediately after Test Fitment DO NOT FULLY INSTALL THE LIGHT HERE return back to this step once all the wiring and testing has been completed to secure the headlight in place.
6. Headlight Wiring (Step by Step) A. 9006 Connector will plug directly into the headlight low beam plug (only on non- HID application) or the red connector from the HID ballast. B. 9005 Connector will plug directly into the high beam plug coming out the back of the headlight C. Driver s side wiring is shorter for the turn signals and may need to be extended for the angel eyes for ease of installation. Once you have identified the low positive (blue) and negative (brown), you can cut the wires and splice in an extension. Again, this is only optional, but may help with the installation of the angel eyes. For illustrative purposes, we used electrical tape as insulation here. We recommend either doing a soldered connection with insulation such as heat shrink tubing. D. Mount the angel eyes ballast in a vibration free manner and moisture free location.
6. Headlight Wiring (cont) E. High Beam Connections without Xenon are simply plugging in the provided rubber cap s plugs to the bulb and connected the 9005 connection from the car. F. Angel Eyes power lead wires need to be routed out the back just like the HID bulb wires (optional HID) and can be done by cutting a small slit into the rubber boot More pictures will be loaded here inquire with info@umnitza.com for more information. 6a. Headlight Adjust (cont) G. 2 wheels can be used to adjust the lights up and down Center Wheel (G1) moves the projector housing up and down Outside Wheel (G2) moves the projector housing left to right. H. More pictures will be shown here, but wiring the angel eyes requires merely a tap to the power and ground of the turn signals. Shown connected to the body of the car, the connection can be made to the turn signals (brown = ground & red= power) brown (-) and blue (+)wires using ordinary junction taps.
7. Optional Upgrades We recommend the following upgrades and complementary products: -Predator Xenix Hyper white High Beam Bulbs -Lamin-X Clear Film Protection -LED Turn signal bulb kit, in Amber or Xenon White -HID Fog Light Conversion Kits (ProLumen or Piccolo Brand) -LED Side marker bulbs in amber or xenon white 8. Completion If you have tested your lights, installed them back onto the car, and re-installed your bumper skin, your car should now look like this.
