Flexwing Features Blade Configurations Shredder Kit Upgrade Walking Axle Hitch Option McConnel flex-wing mowers are available with different blade configurations to suit the needs of individual applications. All configurations use free swinging, up-draft blades that lift the crop for cutting, ensuring no material is left uncut. For applications which require a high degree of mulching, McConnel can offer a shredder kit. This optional upgrade consists of two updraft blades that first cut the material and two mulching blades to provide further mulching. McConnel flex wing mowers are available with a walking axle upgrade. Each pair of wheels has been designed to pivot around the axles so even when the surface is uneven the mower still travels smoothly.
