3L/T-P/Q33 Series 3 Way Ball Valves A multi-port valve that will lower overall costs by allowing the replacement of two or three conventional straight-line valves, eliminating excess fittings and simplifying automation. In sizes 3/8" through -/" with full port, and /" through " standard port for optional flow Heavy duty body construction to ANSI Class 4 Optional ball and body patterns for various flow paths gives extremely versatile valve design for diversion, mixing, or blending Wide choice of end caps for welding, threaded, flanged or other end connections Built-in ISO 5 mounting pad for easy automation Compact for space saving Multiple seats for ball support while modulating Blow-out proof stem with superior sealing arrangement and anti-static devices between ball and stem The Marwin 3L/T-P/Q33 Series is a versatile small size (3/8" through -/") multi-port ball valve. It consists of a heavy-duty center section that can be furnished with bolted-on screwed ends for a valve rated to Class 4, or with flanged ends for either a Class 5 or 3 valve. It can also be furnished with bolted on socket or butt weld ends. All body gaskets are Teflon, eliminating concerns about elastomer compatibility with the operating fluid. The valve features four seats for equal seat loading. The unique live-loaded cup-and-cone lower primary stem seal-thrust bearing separates the dynamic bearing and static sealing functions. In addition, there is a multiple v- ring upper secondary stem seal. Marwin Valve 3L/T-P/Q33 Series Engineering Data Flow Patterns The Marwin 3L/T-P/Q33 Series is an ideal choice for piping design involving diverting, blending or mixing applications. In certain situations, a single multi-port valve can replace several -way valves to reduce expense, simplify automation and conserve space. The Marwin multi-port valves have a positive seal at every port, and offer a wide variety of possible flow configurations. Positive shutoff can be achieved on any of the exiting ports. By specifying the appropriate ball port configuration, flow direction can be adjusted for virtually any application. Multiport valves are conduit valves and are not designed as high pressure block valves. The pressure in the blocked line should not exceed the pressure in the flowing line by more than 5 psi. Rotation for UT-SR actuators is defined as follows: Direct (Standard) -- CCW when air is applied (air stroke), and CW when air is exhausted (spring stroke). Reverse (Non-standard) -- CW on the air stroke, and CCW on the spring stroke; requires that the pistons be reversed inside the actuator. See bulletin for configurations available for 3T3/3L3 bottom entry valve. Arrows show sequence of positions (ABC or CBA) for the direct rotating UT-SR actuator air stroke (CCW). /fail positions are as follows, and will be used if not specified on the order: A for L, L, L3, T, T3, T6, T7, T8 and T9; B for T4; C for T positions opposite these are available but require reverse rotating UT-SR actuators (see explanation below).
