We have gone to great lengths to find the highly skilled artisans who create our beautiful solid wood doors, which range in style from sleek minimalism to more intricately carved pieces. You can choose from the exclusive woods of the forests of South America -Solid Mahogany or Oak. Combining the best of traditional woodworking and modern technology, we make hand-carved doors with dowels, the old fashioned way. We use sophisticated machinery to create tight finger joints that ensure strength and a precise fit. 4 Your doors receive individual attention. We match the grain and shade of each piece of wood that we use to assemble your door as closely as nature will allow. Whether you are building or remodeling, these handcrafted solid wood doors will add elegance and beauty to your home.
Glass As you continue to create your ideal door, we have an array of glass inserts from which to choose. These inserts are created in the style of stained glass artwork, which means strips of lead, copper or zinc are soldered together to secure individual pieces of glass. You can choose from pieces of clear or obscured glue-chipped glass with a bevel or without. Our leaded glass panels are available in a variety of sizes to suit your privacy and security concerns. Ranging from contemporary to traditional designs, we have the perfect glass complement for your home s architectural style. The touch of brilliance will bring life to your home s focal point. Iron You also have the option to decorate your door with beautiful wrought iron. We handcraft each piece of iron especially for you and the time and effort that our artisans put into their work is evident. Available in black or any special order finish, this piece offers exquisite detail to your door. Since it is a hinged attachment, it opens easily for cleaning. PROTECTING OUR NATURAL RESOURCES Exclusive Wood Doors is serious about protecting and preserving the forests from which we obtain wood for our doors. This is truly a custom shop that caters to all of your individual needs. impact and wind load certified doors / Pre-hanging Our shop in Miami is prepared to pre-hang your custom or stock door in compliance with Florida Wind Load and Impact requirements. Each unit comes with a NAMI sticker, which is required by most inspectors and ensures that our doors meet Florida Building Code requirements. All our standard doors have been tested and passed the Florida Building Code compliance test.
