To be at the forefront of the green transition of maritime industry THE NORWEGIAN SHIP OWNERS ASSOCIATION ENVIRONMENTAL VISION 2003 Color Line shall be at the forefront of the green transition of the maritime industry. As large as the oceans might be, they are also fragile and essential to our future. So, we must act carefully with respect and concern for the delicate balances in nature. The Norwegian Shipowner s Association maintains that the Paris Agreement shall form the basis of the Association s work toward a CO 2 strategy (Board of Directors 28.February 2017) >

The key to success Internationally competitive and predictable framework conditions is a prerequisite for success 1. Gather the industry around a few core competitive advantages based on fundamental dynamics in the market and society (disruptive changes) 2. Define and create a growth horizon together with internationally, competitive companies 3. Challenge the policy instruments (Innovation Norway, ENOVA, R&D institutions etc.) to get support for innovation, to share financial risk, and for approval To trust one another is a core value in all innovation processes >

The maritime cluster in Norwegian is today highly competitive Construction Design Engines Propellers, gear and thrusters Navigation Electro, automation and batteries
