If installing DECK PLATE () (optional): Apply a bead of putty to bottom edge of PUTTY PLATE (). Install SCREW () into the MOUNTING BASE OF THE FAUCET () and allign SCREW () with HOLE ().. Insert SUPPLY HOSES (), SHANK () and SENSOR CABLE () (only included in base model) through hole in DECK PLATE with PUTTY PLATE () and mounting surface. (OPTIONAL) PUTTY (If required). Assemble RUBBER WASHER (7), BRASS WASHER (8) and THREADED LOCKNUT (9) onto SHANK () from underside of sink or mounting surface. Hand tighten LOCKNUT (9).. Use a screwdriver to tighten SCREWS (0) on LOCKNUT (9). Secure the connections by installing into CONNECTOR LOCKING DEVICE () as shown. Rotate the END CAPS () to secure the connection within the CONNECTOR LOCKING DEVICE ().. Determine the mounting location of the PWRX BATTERY PACK () by marking center lines as shown.. Place the BRACKET () on the horizontal center line and mark the location of the mounting holes to be drilled. HORIZONTAL C/L. Using /" diameter drill bit, drill two mounting holes aproximately " deep.. Install the two ANCHORS () provided into the mounting holes. 7. Turn off hot and cold water supplies before beginning.. Install INLINE FILTER () on each wall supply outlet. Be sure that INLINE FILTER () is inserted in the correct direction. (See Illustration). Connect HOT FLEXIBLE SUPPLY (marked with red stripe) () to INLINE FILTER () on hot water control stop (). Connect COLD FLEXIBLE SUPPLY (marked with blue stripe) () to INLINE FILTER () on cold water control stop (). Use adjustable wrench to tighten connections. Do not over tighten.. Faucet supplies are " long from faucet base. Note; If additional supply length is required, installer must purchase those parts separately. Important; If SUPPLY HOSES (, ) are too long, loop as illustrated to avoid kinking. E INSTALL OPTIONAL MIXING VALVE; Fig. Note: An optional Thermostatic Mixing Valve (sold separately) may be installed on faucets 77X.XX & 77X.XX in addition to Above Deck Mixing valve. See setup diagram Fig.. Tee fitting is not supplied with Faucet or Thermostatic Mixing valve and must be purchased separately. If faucet inlet hoses will not reach water supplies, longer hoses must be purchased separately. MAINTENANCE A HAND WASH SENSOR OPERATION; Fig. REMOVE PROTECTIVE FILM FROM SENSOR EYE WHEN INSTALLATION IS COMPLETE. When the Sensor detects a user, the water immediately starts to flow. Water flow will stop. seconds after user is out of sensor range. This Comfort delay allows the user to comfortably move their hands without the water turning off. As a precaution, a Safety Timer will turn off the water, after the sensor has been blocked for 9 seconds. The water will stay off until the blockage is removed from the detection zone. The Comfort and Safety time settings can be adjusted using the Optional Remote Control (0XRCT). B REPLACE BATTERY; Fig., 7. Remove COVER SCREW () and lift COVER () off.. Disconnect SENSOR CABLES () and (7) from the BATTERY and SOLEID VALVE. (Fig. 7). Push BATTERY (7) forward and Pull it out. (Fig. ). Replace the new battery with the same placement. (Insert terminal side first) C REPLACE SENSOR; Fig.,, 7 7. Remove COVER SCREW () and lift COVER () off.. Disconnect SENSOR CABLES () and (7) from the BATTERY and SOLEID VALVE. (Fig. 7) 9. Remove the AERATOR RETAINER SCREW () and BODY FIXATION SCREW (). (Do not remove SPOUT TUBE ). FOR ABOVE DECK MIXING FAUCETS Remove FIXATION SCREW (). Pull the HANDLE ASSEMBLY () to remove the shaft from the MANIFOLD (). Fig.. Lift BODY () off of MANIFOLD ().. Remove SENSOR (9) by carefully pushing on the face of the sensor. Once removed, peal the SENSOR ADHESIVE off of the BODY and clean the remaining residue. 7. To install the new SENSOR, peal the paper liner from the double sided tape and carefully place the SENSOR in its original position so that the WIRES point upward. Press and hold the sensor for - 0 seconds to ensure it sticks properly. Note: To prevent damage to the wires, verify that they are tucked inside the hooks which are located on both sides of the sensor. 8. FOR ABOVE DECK MIXING FAUCETS Slide SPOUT () over the MANIFOLD () being careful to avoid interference between the SPOUT TUBE () and SENSOR (9). Tighten the BODY FIXATION SCREW (). Insert HANDLE ASSEMBLY () into the MANIFOLD () and secure it with FIXATION SCREW (). Move the SPOUT TUBE () and AERATOR RETAINER () into position and tighten the AERATOR RETAINING SCREW () to secure the assembly. Reconnect SENSOR CABLES ( and 7) to the BATTERY and SOLEID VALVE. Install COVER () and secure it with COVER SCREW (). Tuck extra lengths of wire in the empty space located above FIXATION SCREW () Fig. 0 9. Slide SPOUT () over the MANIFOLD () being careful to avoid interference between the SPOUT TUBE () and SENSOR (9). Tighten the BODY FIXATION SCREW (). Move the SPOUT TUBE () and AERATOR RETAINER () into position and tighten the AERATOR RETAINING SCREW () to secure the assembly. Reconnect SENSOR CABLES ( and 7) to the BATTERY and SOLEID VALVE. D CHANGE SENSOR RANGE; Fig.,, 7. Remove the COVER SCREW ().. Remove the COVER ().. Disconnect the BLACK POWER SUPPLY CONNECTOR (7) and reconnect. Fig. 7.. While the SENSOR CONTROL LED (9) is blinking slowly, place your hand - in. (.-0.8mm) in front of the sensor.. When the LED stops blinking and stays ON, move your hand to the desired position and hold in place until the LED begins to blink again.. Once the SENSOR CONTROL LED (9) begins to blink again, remove your hand from the detection zone. When the flashing stops, the detection distance is set. 7. Reassemble the COVER () and secure it with COVER SCREW (). E ADJUST HOT LIMIT STOP; Fig., Fig. To reduce the amount of hot water that can mix with cold, the installer can adjust hot limit stop (Four different settings).. Rotate LEVER HANDLE () counter-clockwise to its stop position (00% cold).. Remove LEVER SCREW () and pull off the LEVER HANDLE ().. Pull out LIMIT STOP () from the VALVE STEM ().. Rotate LIMIT STOP () between the shaded area and insert back onto VALVE STEM ().. Each notch on the LIMIT STOP () will reduce the amount of hot water by approximately %. For example, the nd notch will have 97% of maximum temp, the rd notch will have 9% and the fourth will be 9%.. Replace LEVER HANDLE (), LEVER HANDLE SCREW () and tighten. F ADJUST OR REPLACE MAXIMUM OUTLET TEMPERATURE; Fig.. With the COVER off, the installer can reduce the maximum mixed water temperature by turning the THERMO VALVE () clockwise with a screwdriver.. Remove SCREW () and unthread THERMO VALVE (). Replace with new THERMO VALVE (). WARNING Do not turn the THERMO VALVE () More than turn. The maximum mixed water temperature can not be increased due to ASSE 070 requirements. Fig. G GENERAL CLEANING. Only use a damp, soft cloth to clean the spout and the sensor.. For tougher dirt, use a soft cloth with diluted dish washing detergent. Wipe the area using a wet cloth and dry using a soft cloth. CAUTION Do not scratch the sensor when cleaning. REPLACE SOLEID OPEN EXTERNAL SUPPLY STOPS. CRITICALLY LOW BATTERY. INSTALL NEW BATTERY. DEAD BATTERY. INSTALL NEW BATTERY. REPEAT. CHECK FOR DAMAGE TO SENSOR WIRE INSULATION. REPLACE SENSOR. WATER IS CONTINUOUSLY RUNNING RECONNECT BATTERY TO SENSOR. DOES SENSOR FLASH FOR SECONDS? CHECK FOR DAMAGE TO SENSOR WIRE INSULATION. REPLACE SENSOR. REPLACE SOLEID LOW FLOW ISSUES ARE EXTERNAL SUPPLY STOPS FULLY OPEN? FULLY OPEN EXTERNAL SUPPLY STOPS BY TURNING COUNTER CLOCKWISE. CHECK FOR BLOCKAGE INSPECT FILTER ASSEMBLY, AERATOR AND SOLEID VALVE. REMOVE, CLEAN AND INSERT BACK TO ORIGINAL POSITION.
