LIST OF COMPONENTS SWITCH BEFORE YOU BEGIN SCOTCH-BRITE PAD SWITCH HARNESS ALCOHOL PREP PAD Isopropyl REVOLVER PCM COVER STICKER 3

REVOLVER INSTALLATION 1995-1997 Trucks Required Tools - 13mm Socket - Screw driver 1 Remove the keys from the ignition and disconnect both batteries. Failure to do so may cause damage to the PCM and Revolver. 2 Remove the driver s side kick panel. 3 Remove the emergency brake bracket by removing the (3) 13mm nuts from the braket and lay the entire assembly on the floor. 4

4 Remove the plastic cap to expose the terminal. 5 With the provided Scotch-Brite pad clean the rubberized protective coating off of the terminal contacts. Both sides of the terminal need to be cleaned. It is important that the contacts are sufficiently clean to avoid any connection issues. CAUTION: Be careful when cleaning the connector to not damage the contact with excessive force. 6 Use the Alcohol Prep pad to wipe away any debris on the terminal contacts. 5

INSTALLATION CONTINUED 7 Connect the Switch harness to the Revolver and slide the Revolver into the PCM. NOTE: Make sure the connector clips together before installing or the harness could slide out. 8 Cover the opening with the provided PCM cover sticker. 9 Replace the Emergancy Brake and kick panel. 6 Continue to the Switch installation section.

REVOLVER INSTALLATION 1998-2003 Trucks Required Tools - 10mm Socket - 5.5mm Socket - 7mm Socket - Screw driver 1 Remove the keys from the ignition and disconnect both batteries. Failure to do so may cause damage to the PCM and Revolver. 2 Locate the wiring harness on the fire wall in the engine compartment that connects to the PCM. Using a 10mm socket remove the bolt and slide the connection out of the firewall. 7

INSTALLATION CONTINUED 3 From inside the cab remove the (2) 7mm bolt holding the computer in place. For manual trucks this will be a 10mm bolt holding the top and a 10mm nut on the bottom. 4 Remove the PCM from the truck by sliding it out slowly. 8

5 Remove the PCM from the plastic housing and remove the plastic cap exposing the terminal. 6 With the provided Scotch-Brite pad clean the rubberized protective coating off of the terminal contacts. Both sides of the terminal need to be cleaned. It is important that the contacts are sufficiently clean to avoid any connection issues. CAUTION: Be careful when cleaning the connector to not damage the contacts with excessive force. NOTE: For better access to clean the terminal contacts. The (6) 5.5mm bolts can be removed and the PCM split open. This needs to be done in a clean enviroment. 7 Use the Alcohol Prep pad to wipe away any debris on the terminal contacts. 9

INSTALLATION CONTINUED 8 Connect the Switch harness to the Revolver and slide the Revolver into the PCM. NOTE: Make sure the connector clips together before installing or the harness could slide out. 9 Cover the opening with the provided PCM cover sticker. 10 Slide the PCM back into the plastic housing with the X side of the PCM facing toward the fender. 10

11 Replace the bolts or nuts removed earlier holding the PCM in place. 12 Reconnect the wiring harness in the engine compartment going through the firewall and tighten the 10mm bolt. Continue to the Switch installation section. 11

SWITCH INSTALLATION Required Tools - 3/8 Drill bit - Allen wrench 1 Route the Switch harness from the PCM to the desired mounting location of the Switch. 2 With a 3/8 drill bit, drill a hole to mount the Switch in. 3 Align and adhere the level indicator label around the hole as desired. 4 Mount the Switch in the hole and connect the Switch harness to the Switch. CAUTION: The Switch has a nut and two washers. The smooth washer must remain on the bottom with the tab located in hole between 6 and 7. If it falls out, turn the Switch fully counter clockwise and place the washer back with the pin in the hole between 6 and 7. Make sure the Switch moves exactly 5 clicks clockwise. If not, turn the switch back fully counterclockwise, move the pin, and try again. 12

5 Rotate the Switch fully counter-clockwise. Then align the knob and tighten the set screw, with the indicator pointing to level 1 with the Allen wrench. NOTE: Loosen the set screw before installing the knob 6 Reconnect the batteries and start the truck. 13

VEHICLE WARRANTY INFO Many of our customers ask, Will your product void my vehicle s manufacturer s warranty? Powerteq is committed to providing quality products that are safe to use. Our products do not cause damage to a vehicle when used as intended in accordance with the User Manual and should not void your vehicle s manufacturer s warranty. However, the reality is that many dealerships have been known to improperly void warranties on vehicles that use aftermarket products as a matter of policy. This applies in particular to those aftermarket products that produce horsepower, such as performance enhancement chips, modified intake manifolds, or aftermarket exhaust systems, regardless of product brand. Consumers of aftermarket products are protected by the Federal Magnus- son-moss Warranty Act. The Act provides that if something breaks on your vehicle and you take it in for warranty repair, the dealer must honor your warranty unless 18

whatever modifications you have added to your vehicle actually caused the problem in question. In order to understand your rights under the Federal Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, Powerteq recommends that you contact qualified legal counsel. 19
