SCE Phase 2 Power Outage SCE standard practice: Ample notice to plan for outage. No alternative sources of power or mitigations provided. Metro investigated generators: Would increase power outage time frame. Need to confirm temporary line is isolated before and after outage. Time frame (4-8 hours) extended by approx. 6 hours for each generator or connection Self-defeating for businesses Metro still investigating: Surface mounted cables to run power to another vault Dry Ice provided for cooling of refrigerator or freezers 15
