8 JUNE 2017 1
WELCOME TO THE XTERRA BELGIUM! When the idea of organizing the XTERRA Belgium came to us three years ago, we were far from thinking about hosting 1200 athletes as from the second edition. We are happy and proud to make you discover the wonderful playground of the citadel of Namur. Once the motocross world championship host, we now wish it to become the annual meeting of the Xterrians. In 2016, the race could not take place as planned since we had to do a duathlon because of the exceptional floods in the north of France and Belgium. This year, the XTERRA triathlon version will take place and we are delighted. «WHEN SPORTS MEET PARTY» will be the tag line of the XTERRA Belgium. As Belgians we like sports but also to party. We hope that every athlete participating in the Belgian stage of the European Xterra Tour will have a unique experience. We hope you will enjoy as much before, during and after the race. We wish you the accomplishments you dream of and will definitely meet you at the after race party followed by a concert!!! We also invite you to follow the Endoro Trail on Friday 9th, unique concept, taking place at the Citadel, from 18h00 to 20h30. Come to encourage the athletes. We would like to thanks all the publics and private support who give us the opportunity to organise such a race but also the 180 volonteers who will be present to offer you an unforgattable experience. Good luck and enjoy! The organising team of XTERRA Belgium 2
