VISIBILITY: Superb visibility allows easy positioning of containers for more precise and efficient load handling. The cab s structural design creates excellent all-around visibility. Rearward visibility is further enhanced by counterweight profile. 2. HYDRAULIC SYSTEM: Simplified hydraulic routings are used throughout to create a more robust system and leak-free O-ring Face Seal (ORFS) fittings reduce leaks for enhanced reliability. These trucks use heavy-duty tandem pumps to ensure longer life. The YardMaster II uses Variable Displacement Pumps and a closed center hydraulic system to provide improved performance, less hydraulic heat and reduced fuel consumption. A two-speed lifting system is used to provide high lifting/extending speeds of containers. 3. SERVICEABILITY: The combination of removable aluminum panels (does not require tools) and a sliding cab (manual or powered), on the YardMaster II, has been designed for ease of serviceability for both daily checks and ease of maintenance. We reduced daily checks to the engine, transmission, and hydraulics, by increasing the instrument panel readings. 4. FRAME DESIGN: One piece welded, simple box-type construction yielding a stronger, more durable platform for container handling. Proven design uses a bolt-on drive axle to eliminate frame fatigue. Power-train, counterweights, fuel, and hydraulic tanks are also bolted onto the frame for greater serviceability. 5. PRODUCTIVITY: ComforCab II is the same proven cab offered on all HD models from Hyster. The ergonomic design of the cab and controls reduces operator fatigue and delivers improved productivity. The cab is large and uncluttered, allowing the operator ample room for auxiliary options. Operator compartment features a spacious environment with an adjustable suspension seat, with integrated armrest and low effort controls, 4-way adjustable steering wheel, and power-assisted steering and brakes. 6. ERGONOMICS : The soundproofing achieved on the ComforCab II creates a quiet and relaxed working environment, reducing fatigue and ensuring alertness for the operator. Optional: PPS (Powered Pile Slope) function is a hydraulic powered sideways articulation of the EC spreader, of +/- 6 degrees (in addition to the standard mechanical articulation). HYSTER YARDMASTER II SERIES SPREADER CHARACTERISTICS The Hyster Telescopic Container spreader, for handling 20'-40' ISO containers, features: Ample rotation angle of +195 / -105 degrees. Powered Damping Cylinders (PDC) function, to tilt the spreader forwards and backwards, over +/- 5 degrees, with limited power. Operated by a control knob on the joystick. Facilitates the easier positioning of the spreader onto containers, which are located on sideways (not front to back) sloping trailers. Mechanical pile slope of +/- 3 degrees, and optional powered pile slope of +/- 6 degrees, to facilitate easy handling of containers on / off sloping trailers. 63 inches total sideshift movement, 31.5 inches to each side.
