Garden City Flashback Light Weld Fullsize Rules 2018 Light weld fullsize = car must remain stock unless specified. 1. Any car allowed except no 73 and older Imperials or sub-frames, hursts, limo, ambulances, el-camino. 2. GAS TANKS must be removed. A 12 gal. max capacity fuel tank can be relocated inside car strapped securely, no bungee straps, and properly covered with non-flammable material. Sedans only may have gas tank protector in center of back seat area, must be free floating off seat bar, min. of 6 inches off floor no wider than 24 inches, 4 inch diameter max material, at least 1 inch away from sheet metal on all sides (NO POUNDING). Gas tank must be mounted to protector OR floor, cannot be fastened to both. 3. HEADERS through hoods allowed. 4. May alter ignition and starter wires, may alter gas petal, may modify master cylinder, no full floor double gas and brake pedal set-ups, individuals allowed if deemed no reinforcement factor, cannot be tight against firewall or siderail. Must be at least 2 inches away from either, bolted with (3) ½ inch bolts and washers to one layer of floor sheet metal only, no large or connecting washers. 5. TIRES Any air filled and ply tire allowed, Valve stem protectors are acceptable, skid-loader, ag, or stuffed tires ok. Aftermarket 8 inch diameter multi-lug rim centers are allowed, rest of rim must remain stock. 6. RADIATORS, any factory style radiator allowed, no home-made barrels, must remain in the stock location and be filled with water or antifreeze only- May run electric fans. May be strapped in with seatbelts, strapping ect. Spray foam may only be used up side tanks of radiator, not top or bottom. 7. BATTERYS must be placed on the passenger side floorboard properly secured to sheet metal only and covered with non-flammable material. 2 batteries allowed. 8. BUMPER may be welded to Shocks, or directly to frame, no relocating or welding of core support or mount, shocks may be collapsed and welded. NO WELDING BEYOND 4 INCHES MAX. FROM END OF FRAME BACK, may add 3/16 thick x 2 inch wide angle iron on all 4 sides of frame for mounting bumper to frame, may add small filler material between bumper and frame to fill gaps, anything deemed excessive will be removed, no extending shocks or brackets to make longer than stock, must be in factory location. Bumpers are interchangeable from any mass produced car, may trim ends, outer skin may be welded to inner structure, bumpers may be reinforced internally. You may run (4 strands) of wire or chain in 4 locations from bumper to core support plus an additional 2 from underside of bumper to frame. 9. WINDOW BARS Must have two windshield bars (2 inch max width, 1/4 inch thick, may be flat, round, or square) may tie bars together in two locations, or #9 wire from dash to roof to prevent hood from coming into driver compartment. You may also run one bar in rear window track ¼ in thick, 2 inches wide (may be flat, round, or square) welded or bolted within 5 inches total of rear window track and no fasten plate any larger than 4 inch square. Any plate or bar beyond 5 inches of window track in stock location will not pass and will have to be removed. Must have a 5 inch gap in-between window bars and roof sign. 10. DOORS Driver s door may be welded shut, Driver s door window nets allowed. Highly recommend reinforcing driver door for safety!! Reinforced no longer than 4 inches past door seam. All other doors may be secured in any combination of the following ways: welded with a max. of 24 inches of weld with straps no more than 3/16 thick- 3 inches wide, OR chained/wired in 8 locations (2 per seam) with 3/8 inch chain, OR #9 wire 4 strands- (keep it simple) or will have to be removed, 4 inch wide duct tape will count as a location other than drivers door. The bottom of the door seams only, may be chained or wired through the bottom of door and around the frame 2 per bottom seam on 4 door car, (2 door cars, may use 4 on bottom location, total of 8 locations of door bottoms may go around frame, no using washers around holes, nothing in window openings other than one location per rear door may go from top door seam through roof and down around frame and door bottom, (this will count for 2 door locations), one top seam, and one bottom seam. You may use a combination of weld and wire/chain, each location of wire/chain will count as 3 inches of weld. (Example #1) If you were to use 18 inches of weld and 2 wires= 24 inches allowed. (Example #2) 8 wire/chain locations =24 inches of weld

11. TRUNKS may be wired, chained, bolted, 8 locations or welded a max of 24 inches. 8 locations in any combination of the following ways, 2 of them locations may go from top of lid only to frame = (2- ¾ diameter rods may go from trunk lid down and welded to side or top of frame) 5 inch max washer on top of lid, other locations- 3/8 chain, #9 wire (4 loops maximum) OR a pair of 2 x 2 x 2-3/16 in thick angle welded to sheet metal with one 3/8 bolt to secure together OR 3/8 bolt through drip-rail with 2 inch max. washer OR welded 24 inches max. 3/16 thick x 3 in wide flat strap (each wire/chain, bolt location including rods to frame will = 3 inches of weld a per location do not exceed 24 inches total) May tuck trunks 50% must remain in factory location and remain attached to hinges, lids may be creased/dished 6 inches from factory location. You may also add 2 additional wires (4 loops) from roof or trunk lid sheet metal to bumper or frame, station wagons cannot use the threaded rod option. 12. HOODS may be fastened in 6 individual places (not connected) in any combination of the following ways, chain 3/8 inch, #9 wire (4 loops maximum), 3/4 bolts, two front core support hood bolts may go to frame with body mount removed, no welding to or on core support, all other ¾ bolts 6 inch long max. welded to sheet metal only with a 5 inch max washer free floating on hood, may use angle iron 3 x 3 x 3 inches long- 3/16 in thick to weld to fender underneath hood for pin on or 1 welded on top of fender and 1 on hood with a 3/8 bolt securing 2 angle irons together, No chain binders. You may use a total of 8-3/8 bolts with 2 inch washers to bolt skin together around opening, you may add 4 additional locations of chain or wire from core support to frame or bumper as bumper rule states. Hoods may be folded/bent over core support in factory location, u are not allowed to move hood forward. 13. BODY No welding or bolting any body seams MUST BE STOCK APPEARING OTHER THAN SPECIFIED, Speaker deck, trunk lid and rear quarter panels can be pushed in max of 6 inches from its factory location, roof must remain stock no pushing up, fenders must stay upright with minimal 6 inch crease for bending- fender tails may be folded in 6 inches. NO DOUBLE LAYERS No creasing or pinching of sheet metal to create double layer effect for body enhancing, or will have to be cut. Cutting for wheel clearance is allowed, may cut slits and roll, u will be allowed 4-3/8 bolts 2 inch max. diameter washers per fender to bolt skins back together. You may also wrap excess front fender around core support and bolt to core sheet metal with 2-3/8 bolts with 2 inch washers per front fender. 14. BODY MOUNTS Two front radiator support bushings may be removed and bolted solid and used for hood pin, may use 3 inch diameter 3/16 thickness spacers 4 inches tall max. height to fill gap between frame and core support if you raise radiator support, All remaining factory body bolts may be replaced up to ¾ max. diameter bolts with 4 inch washers. A ¾ in. thick body spacing must be retained between body and frame cannot bolt body directly to frame. 15. FRAMES must remain factory stock other than stated in rules, NO FRAME SEAM WELDING ALLOWED may pre-bend or notch, ABSOLUTELY NO WELDING ANYWHERE ON FRAME unless specified. You may pound in rear frame hump outer contour 1 inch max. depth - 12 inches in length each direction down from the center- top of rear hump. No other frame shaping, stuffing, pinning allowed. No painted frames!!!!! Y-frame mopars may use a 6x5 3/16 in thick plate on top or bottom (not both) to tie Y together. All frame repairs MUST be preauthorized, 1/8 inch max only. SUSPENSION must remain stock for the car you are running, No changing, reinforcing, A-arms-- ball joints, all must be stock as it came from factory- no swapping from car to car. You may weld upper A-arm down using 2-2inch wide straps 1/4 thick per upper arm welding two inches on A-arm and 2 inches on frame to gain height (whole arm cannot be welded down just width of strap 2 inches front and backside) or use spacers in sagging springs to gain bumper height not to exceed 28 inches to top of bumper, you can use two springs coiled together to gain rear height, if over you will have to lower to pass tech unless pre-ran or pre-bent, you can wire springs in to keep from falling out, you can run 4 strands of wire or 3/8 chain from rear axle to frame in two locations, you can also run 4 strands of wire, or chain from frame-rail to frame-rail behind rear axle, chain must go around frame no bolting through to create a pin effect. LEAF PACKS must remain stock for the car you are running, must have stock stagger, no flat stacking, no welding or taping of leaf springs. You will be allowed 6 leaf clamps total per pack, factory OR home-made. Clamp size max. 2 inch wide, 4 inch long, ¼ thick. 17. STEERING you may alter steering column from gearbox rag-joint to steering wheel to prevent steering loss, rest of components must remain stock components and not reinforced, stock tie rods, ect. 18. ENGINE Distributor protectors, full engine cradles, trans braces will NOT be allowed in this class!! You may cut firewall for clearance, Motors are interchangeable, any part of engine may be modified. Block saver lower

engine cradle will be allowed. Engine must be rubber mounted, may be welded in the size of the factory mount in stock location, upper conversion mounts can be used if stock sized, or lower (overkill type) weld in ford to GM jump mounts allowed, may also use wire or chain to hold motor in place in two locations, cannot weld metal straps for this, must be wire or chain and must go around frame rail, or directly down to factory engine cradle and welded with one link of chain. Do not use fire-wall as a brace, or will be cut out, judge s decision. No engine oil coolers. 19. TRANSMISSION Homemade shifters allowed, coolers are allowed bolted to sheet metal or cage only, may loop transmission lines. If you need to relocate transmission cross-member you can weld a piece of 2x2x1/4 6 long angle iron to frame to set the cross-member on in stock location and NOT in location of cold bend. Crossmember can be max 2x2 box tubing and must be straight across. Cross-member may be bolted or welded in place. Trans may be wired or chained to cross-member. 20. REAR-ENDS/ DRIVESHAFT may be swapped from any automotive car, no bracing, no aftermarket axles, 5 lug only, must be stock!!! after market pinion yolks and pinion brakes are allowed, may weld and swap gears, you may weld brackets to rear end to make fit, may shorten or lengthen control arms, cut and re-weld overlapping one inch, or adding a pair of flat straps to end of control arm to extend, NO reinforcing factory trailing arm. No leaf conversions, no watts link conversions, or hump plates. Slider drive-shafts are allowed. 21. CAGE (SEAT-BAR MANDITORY) Must have seat bar from door to door with a 12 by 12 max plate on ends. can be welded or bolted to body, also can have dash-bar with no forward straps to firewall but can run two wires from dash-bar to top of cowl for drivers safety, may connect dash-bar to seat bar not to exceed 60 inches in length, you will be allowed one safety bar in middle of drivers door and one in pass door for safety, MUST BE TO SHEET METAL ONLY NOT FRAME!!. Halo bar can be used but must be attached to seat bar and sheet metal NOT FRAME! Only two ¾ max bolts to attach halo to roof. Halo must be vertical, not angled. No excessive plates for reinforcement. No reinforcing transmission, or driveshaft tunnel, all cage material no further back than 10 inches of back of driver seat other than tank protector outlined in gas tank rule, cage material must not exceed 5 inch diameter material. 22. Sheet metal repairs, you may patch rusted out sheet metal with same thickness metal 2 inches wider than rust hole (leave rust in place) bolted with ¼ inch bolts or spot welded, (must leave 5 inch gap between bolts or spot welds) call for permission if area is larger than 2 ft. diameter. Car must remain stock unless specified in the rules, IF IT DON T SAY YOU CAN T DON T ASSUME YOU CAN.

COMPACT= MAPLETON June 8th = 106 AND UNDER front or rwd 4 or 6 cyl. GARDEN CITY 28th = ANY wheelbase FWD COMPACT/MID-SIZE factory 4 OR 6 CYL. / 106 AND UNDER RWD. 1. All doors and trunk lids may be fastened shut by 3 strands #9 wire, 3/8 chains two per seam, or 24 inches of weld (3 inch wide straping max.) on the outside door seams, top of trunk lid only, NO TAPE unless used as one of your locations and no more than 2 inches wide. Drivers door may be reinforced and welded for drivers safety. No wire in window openings, or roof to floor, SEAMS only! (on a 4 dr. car if u wire or chain front and rear doors together with one chain around post in middle of car this counts as 2 locations, one location for front door and one for the rear door. 2. Two front cradle mounts may be removed and use ¾ bolt to bolt solid, may use as hood pin through core support, rest of frame and mounts must be stock only without any added bolts, wire or welding, cannot use as a hood pin. 3. Bumpers must be wired, or chained, two locations to frame or to hood Fiberglass or rubber bumper cover must fastened well or be removed, 4. Cutting fenders for tire clearance is allowed, no bolting or welding of fenders. 5. Tucking the trunk lid is allowed fastened on top of lid only, may crease trunk 4 inches max in middle from stock location, fenders must stay upright, body creasing and tuck can be done, no more than 50% of panel. 6. Hoods may be fastened shut in 6 locations to sheet metal only with ¾ rod, 2 core support bolts may go to frame other 4 fastened to sheet metal only using 5 inch washer max on top of hood, or (3 strands) #9 wire or chain (3/8) in a max. (two wires or chains may go from hood or core support to bumper) locations may not connect together, must be separate. Hoods will have holes large enough for fire extinguisher access and must be open for inspection. no bolting or screws in hood openings. 7. Engines may be wired, chained, in two locations, mounts can be made solid if not reinforcing cradle, 4 or 6 cyl. engine, must be stock for vehicle no engine cradles or protectors allowed including carb. protectors. 8. Stock axles, with no bracing or modifying of brackets. No 4wd or awd one must be disabled. 9. Body mounts, suspension, and shocks must be stock only, may weld or clamp strut shaft, may use a piece of angle iron clamped to strut shaft to gain height. NO REINFORCING STRUT, OR REAR TRAILING ARMS, must remain stock. Factory tie-rods may be reinforced with a piece of 1x1 angle iron ¼ in. thickness max. 10. Transmission coolers are not allowed unless came factory, may alter

Fuel tanks must be removed and located in back seat securely fastened, no bungee straps, and completely covered with a nonflammable material. If running electric fuel pump, power source must be well labeled (fuel pump) in large bold lettering. 13.Two batterys allowed and must be moved to passenger front seat, securely fastened, no bungee straps, and covered with a nonflammable item. 14. Safety bars in or on top of the dash, and behind seat are MANDITORY with a max. 8 x8 mounting plate. 4 inch diameter max. material, may connect dash to seatbar with no down bars attached to floor or frame. U may run roof (halo) bar but can only be attached to seat bar, may rest on but not attach to floor or frame. All cage material can be no further forward than firewall, and not further rearwards of the most forward side of rear wheel well tubs. (2 WINDSHIELD BARS OR #9 WIRE) Added bars in front of the driver from the front cowl up to the roof will be MANDITORY 2 inch max diameter. to keep hood from coming into drivers compartment, attachment point bolted or welded no more than 5 inch square, may also have drivers door window netting. No rear window bars allowed, no wire in any other window openings, no wire from roof to any location other than specified. 15. Boundaries will be observed at all times. No deliberate pushing out of bounds. 16. Two fires allowed before elimination. 17. Stock cooling systems only. 18.FRONT BUMPER FASTENING No adding bumper brackets other than specified. Any automotive car bumper may be used except (chrysler v bumpers not allowed for safety reasons) bumpers must be cut down to fit width of car, seams may be welded. May use a completely flat 3x3 ¼ inch thick square tube inside bumper or attached to car with front-side covered with a chrome skin. Crush zone on front frame-rail may be removed, bumper shocks can be welded or removed, bumpers can be welded directly to frame. For mounting purposes u will be allowed to add a piece of tube 4x4- ¼ thick- welded inside frame to your desired depth only 8 inches max. can be inside frame, OR may have 8 inch long 1/4 flat plate on outside of frame per rail not both! U may also use the aid of a flat mount plate per frame-rail 5x5-1/4 thickness square plate to cap frame-rail to be able to attach bumper to car, weld them well we don t want any bumpers falling off.

1/2-3/4 ton LIGHT BUILD TRUCK RULES 2018 1/2-3/4 ton American made pickup, ext, crew cabs, suburbans are allowed, NO 1 tons or frame swaps. Frames must remain stock and not shortened or altered in any way. No welding other than specified!!!! NO adding extra braces in frame or engine cradles. If officials suspect a 1 ton frame it will be drivers responsibility to have written proof by frame code, vin number it is ¾ or less or will not run. Hood may be chained 3/8 chain, wired, or bolted in 6 separate locations, two chains or wires may go from core support to bumper, U will be allowed two 1in. Max. rods welded to frame used for hood pin at core support, rods may be welded to core support 5 inches per rod (5 inch long filler material can be used to reach core support if not resting tight against), u will also be allowed a 5x5 inch washer welded to top of core support for hood pins to go through to hold in position, other 4 locations up to 1in. max hood pins, wires, chain, or 5 inch long angle iron welded to inner fender with pin welded on, must go from sheet metal to sheet metal only, - hood washers no larger than 5x5 inches ¼ thick, hood pins must be straight up and down 1 ft. max length. U may use 4 3/8 bolts each hole to bolt hood skin together hood openings around stacks. MUST have two window bars no larger than 3 in diameter or 2 #9 wires in windshield opening to prevent hood from entering drivers compartment for drivers safety. Doors may be chained two locations per seam, or welded 24 inches of total weld outside only (1/4 In. strap no wider than 2 inches) each chain or wire location will count as 4 inches of weld. Drivers door may be welded solid and reinforced for safety (highly recommended) and can have a drivers window net. Tail-gate must be ran in upright position, no removing, may be chained in two locations per side OR welded using 2x2 angle iron inside, or 2" flat strap outside 24 inches total on the sides plus an additional 12 inches of 2" angle or 4 chains on bottom of tail-gate to box (not bumper or frame). Angle on bottom of tailgate to box must not be connected to box plates. Tail-gate may be lowered and welded to end of frame rails to use as a bumper as long as no other form of bumper is not used. If bumper is used may lower tailgate and weld to top of frame only (not bumper) and chained in two lower locations, suburban, suv back doors use tailgate rules to secure. BUMPERS Front and rear bumpers may be changed to a seam welded, loaded car bumper (rear must remain flat) no adding bumper brackets to frame. If u choose not to install a factory car bumper u can use a (FLAT only) 6 ft. long max, 5 inch diameter or less, 3/8 thick square or round tube behind factory truck bumper welded to frame, No other metal can be added to bumper besides bumper skin, no sharp edges, cannot protrude past fenders (must be covered by a skin on front side). Bumpers may be welded to frame plus added 2x2 inch wide ¼ thick angle iron also to help secure to frame on all sides (do not run lengthways down frame as a bracket- bumper attachment only) Bumper height max 27 inches to the top of bumper- min. 22 top of bumper. No open frame rails.

TIRES Any ply tire allowed, stuffed, skid, ag ok, split rims allowed but ring must be fully welded. Any automotive rim. Uni-lug wheel centers 9 inch max. diameter may be used, may have outer rim bead lip protectors 1 ½ wide no beadlocks or full centers. SUSPENSION Front axle non leaf-spring trucks may install 3/4 bolt in center of a-arm welded to spring pocket to gain height. Front shocks may also be replaced with a piece of steel stock (bolted) in factory location to maintain ride height. Stock leaf packs, no adding leafs, u may have 6 leaf clamps per leaf pack total, no coil to leaf conversions on front axles. Factory leaf spring perches may be welded or bolted to frame to help from tearing off. May add two chains per axle to frame 3/8 chain. 1/2 ton may swap to 3/4 ton rear ends, may be welded posi-traction, no bracing on rear ends. ENGINE/TRANS May crossbreed engines and transmissions, No adding engine cradles or extra braces in frames. For older trucks with no engine crossmember this is your allowace: u may use a 5x5 8 inches long 3/8 max. thickness piece of tubing to weld solid to frame vertical or horizontal and build out from tubing to mount engine mount, cannot connect mount to mount, no homemade or car cradles allowed to tie rails together, can be gusseted back to tube but not to frame. Do not use firewall as a brace. May have 2 chains or wires to frame to hold motor in place, may weld motor mounts in size of factory mount. Engine must be bolted to mount with 2 bolts not welded. Trans coolers allowed if deemed safe, do not use rubber unbraided trans lines. Trans may be chained or wired to cross-member. Block saver lower engine cradles allowed without pulley protector. Dist. protectors, trans. Protectors, ultra-bells, steel tailshafts will not be allowed. Any driveshaft may be used, sliders ok. No radi-barrels must use a radiator in factory location, or loop hoses. BODY BOLTS Trucks may have 8 locations of chains, bolts or u-bolts to secure box to frame, cab 6, and core support 2, (suburbans, suvs, may only use 10 total throughout cabin compartment and 2 at core support) 1 in. diameter max size bolts with plate size no larger than ¼ inch thick x 8 inches square) bolts may be bolted through top of frame like factory or may weld to outside of frame, do not pin frame. Bolts MUST be ran VERTICAL. In addition u may leave original body mounts in factory location but must remain 100% stock rubbers included, if removed and bolted solid u loose option to use extra factory location. BOX Roll over bar (strongly recomended) mounted in front of box, (must remain 5 inches gap min. away from top of cab, must stay vertical not angled) can bolt or weld to box floor or to box washer plates (not frame), no wider than frame on uprights, no wider than cab on top, may have kickers two feet back from uprights to support, and one crossbar across bottom of kickers to protect gas tank, roll over bar cannot attach to interior cage components. Box may be bolted to cab in 4 locations 1 inch bolt size 5x5 plates AND may weld 12 inches of strap per side (24 total) to weld cab and box together. U will be allowed one location to wire box side to box side location of choice- cannot go to or around frame (4 strands of wire max, no chains). No folding box-sides over to create a wedge, may bolt fenders with 6-3/8 bolts to bolt fenders together 2 inch washers max. threads must point inward. Outside fender creasing is allowed.

CAGE MANDATORY= Must run a bar behind seat (no further back than 10 inches behind seat) and across dash may use 6x6 plates on ends, may connect dash-bar to seat bar along with two down bars to floor on drivers door for protection, these bars may kick back inward and attach to side of frame after going through the floor. U may also add one down bar on pass door to floor to protect battery. U may attach a rollover bar from seat bar up to or over roof and down to dash bar but these bars cannot connect or come in contact with rollover bar in trucks with boxes to stop truck from bellying. 5 inch diameter max. on cage material, only attached to cab, floor, or body mount plate not directly to frame. Suburbans, suvs may attach a floating gas tank protector off seat bar 24x24 protector must remain 4 inches away from any sheet metal. These are the only internal cage companants allowed. BATTERY/GAS TANK 2 batterys max. allowed on pass floor, properly mounted and covered, NO BUNGE STRAPS!! Gas tank must be removed and one relocated in front of box, 8 gal. max. May use electric fuel pumps if well labeled (FUEL SHUT OFF). FRAME If frame bent, may plate 1 inch past bend both directions 1/4 in thick one side of frame only. if long area over 6 inches is bent please call ahead for authorization, No boxing of frames. MISC. Stock steering components, may alter steering shaft from box to steering wheel, tie rods may be reinforced in center. Shifter may be altered, ign. and starter wires may be altered. Mini-van, small pick-up, suv. mapleton and garden city 2018 1. DOORS, tailgates may be fastened shut by wire, chains, (two per seam), or 24 inches max of weld per door or tail-gate. (3 inch max wide strapping) on the outside door seams. Box may be welded to cab 12 inches per side. may have box bolted to cab in two locations 5x5 plate ¾ bolt. Boxes may have 4 extra chains added from box to frame to attach. Drivers door may be reinforced for drivers safety. No extra welding or bracing on body seams or frames will be allowed. 2. FRAMES must be stock only without any added bolts or welding of seams. 3. BUMPERS may be welded, wired, chained, or bolted on, no adding bumper brackets. May swap bumpers to any automotive bumper cut down to width. May use flat 4x4 ¼ thick or less tubing for bumper covered with chrome on face as bumper. 2x2 ¼ angle iron may be used on all 4 sides of frame to secure bumper to frame. Max. bumper height of 28 inches. (All bumpers MUST have two wires or chains holding bumper from falling off) may go to hood or trunk to secure. 4. Cutting fenders for tire clearance is allowed, no bolting or welding. 5. Pinching fenders or other body panels will not be allowed, must remain stock appearing. Any form of body creasing, body enhancing will be cut out. 6. HOODS may be fastened shut with (4 strands) wire or chain (3/8) in a max. of 6 locations, (two may go to bumper) or may be bolted with 6-3/4 bolts- 4 inch diameter max washers on top, 2 front core support bolts may go to frame other 4 fastened to sheet metal only. Hoods will have holes large enough for fire extinguisher access and must be open for inspection., no bolting or screws in hood openings. 7. ENGINES may be wired, chained, in two locations, 4 or 6 cyl engine only. No cradles, protectors or braces. 8. Stock AXLES, max 6 lug only with no bracing or modifying of brackets, may be welded for positraction. Must be 2 wheel drive, front or rear. If 4 wheel drive, either front or rear must be disabled. 9. BODY mounts, suspension, steering components, and shocks must be stock only, not reinforced. No adding leaf clamps, steering wheel to steering box may be altered. 10. TRANSMISSION coolers allowed if deemed safe, may alter transmission linkage, gas petal, ignition switches, and headers are allowed. Transmission mount may be chained or wired. 11. TIRES Any ply tire allowed. Rims must remain stock and not reinforced, valve stem protectors allowed. 12. FUEL tanks must be located inside back seat area or front side of pick-up box securely fastened, no bungee straps, and completely covered with a nonflammable material. Original gas tank must be

removed. If running electric fuel pump, power source must be well labeled (fuel pump) in large bold lettering. 13. Two BATTERIES are allowed and must be moved to passenger front seat, securely fastened, no bungee straps, and covered with a non-flammable item. 14. CAGE Safety bars in the dash and behind seat are permitted with a max. 8 x8 mounting plate. 4 inch diameter max. material, may connect dash to seatbar with one down bar inside each front door for protection, must attach to sheet metal not frame. U may run roof (halo) bar if attached to cage or bolted to sheet metal not frame. Added bars in front of the driver from the front cowl up to the roof will be MANDITORY (2 WINDSHIELD BARS OR #9 WIRE) to keep hood from coming into drivers compartment, may also have drivers door window netting. No wire in any other window openings, no wire from roof to any location other than specified. 15. Boundaries will be observed at all times. No deliberate pushing out of bounds. 16. Two fires allowed before elimination. 17. Stock cooling systems only. IF THE RULES DO NOT SAY IT DO NOT ASSUME THAT YOU CAN DO IT.
