CSSD s missin is t supprt cntinuus imprvement and innvative practices thrugh perfrmance standards and third-party certificatin. CSSD has develped initial perfrmance standards fr peratrs engaged in uncnventinal explratin, develpment, and gathering activities including site cnstructin, drilling, hydraulic fracturing and prductin in the Appalachian Basin. These standards represent cnsensus n what is achievable and prtective f human health and the envirnment. Bureau f Air quality f the Pennsylvania Department f Envirnmental Prtectin develped a General Permit, Pennsylvania General Plan Apprval and/r General Operating Permit BAQ-GPA/GP-5 GP-5 t authrize the cnstructin, mdificatin, and/r peratin f natural gas cmpressin and/r natural gas prcessing facilities. This dcument prvides a cmparisn f the requirements in air standards.
