Refer to parts diagram toward the back of this manual to help identify parts during the assembly process. B. Leave all bolts loose for later adjustment unless otherwise specified. C. Read and understand all instructions before beginning. D. Plastic washers have been supplied to provide a weather seal around all exterior fasteners. The plastic washer should be installed under each bolt head directly against the outside cab surface. Care should be taken not to over tighten the fasteners and damage the plastic washer. Also use metal washers as required. E. Apply a clear silicone sealant to seal any minor gaps that may occur due to vehicle variances. For example, rear panel to unitized frames. NOTE: Do not use plastic washers on roll bar brackets. (See figure 4 (right side shown)) 9. FINISHING TOUCHES Fig. 4 9. Remove lights from rear fenders and install to light brackets on left and right side frames. (See Figure 5.) Run wires up through grab handle hole that grommet was installed in on Step.4. Also install no riders and loader control decal (if applicable) in a visible location on fenders to replace the ones covered by the cab side frames. 9.2 Tighten all remaining hardware. Install plastic nut covers on all exposed nuts on the interior of the cab. Fig. 5 9.3 Install doors back on pin hinges and, if necessary, adjust for optimum seal and latching. Hinges can be adjusted up and down as can the striker pins. The latch on the inside of the door can be adjusted front to back. Install door stop cables as shown in Fig. 6. 9.4 Install wiper motor and any other accessories according to the instructions included with the kits. Fig. 6 CARE & MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS Check and tighten hardware after 40 hours of operation. Periodically inspect and tighten hardware for the remainder of the unit s life. Wash the painted surfaces of the unit with commercial automotive cleaning products. Clean windows with glass cleaner. Vinyl components should be washed with a mild solution of warm soapy water. HEATER INSTALLATION: MODEL: MASSEY FERGUSSON TGX SERIES OPTIONAL AUXILIARY HEATER INSTALLATION (p/n 9PH20S32) A. Install the 20,000 BTU MEGA BURNER heater to the heater bracket, using two of the /4 bolts on the side of the heater. B. The location for the heater unit is on the right unitized side frame. C. Remove plugs (if equipped) from heater inlet and outlet tubes. D. Remove plugs in bottom right side of cowl and install plastic bushings from the heater kit by pushing into the holes from the inside of the cab. HEATER PLUMBING: *** CAUTION *** To avoid injury caused by hot engine coolant, make sure the engine is completely cooled down before beginning installation of auxiliary heater. FIG A A. Drain the cooling system. B. For the supply line to the heater on 34 and 40 hp tractors, remove the sending unit. Install the hex bushing to the adaptor with small nylon washer. Install sending unit into end of adaptor with large nylon washer. Install the assembly into the engine block where the sending unit was removed (Figure A). If the sending unit adaptor does not tighten so that the port on the side for the 3/8 NPT nipple points up as shown then remove it and install another small plastic washer and try again. Install the nipple into the side port of the adaptor. For the larger hp tractors, remove the clamp and rubber cap from the port on the right side of the thermostat housing. Figure B. C. For the return line from the heater on 34 and 40 hp tractors, cut the lower radiator hose in the location shown (Figure C) and install the enclosed T fitting with large hose clamps provided. For the larger hp tractors, remove the clamp and rubber cap from the port on the left side of the thermostat housing. Figure D. D. Reference Figure E (next page). Run the supplied heater hose from the T fitting, or port, along the side of the engine compartment and through one of the holes in the cowl, cut to length and attach to heater and T fitting with small hose clamps. CAUTION: Make sure hose does not rub against the exhaust. E. Reference Figure E (next page). Use the remaining hose to run from the sending unit adaptor or engine port to the heater and attach with small hose clamps. On 47, 52 and 55 hp models route the hose behind the exhaust manifold, under the fuel tank, and over to the other side of the engine compartment, and then to the heater in the same manner as the others tractors. See Figure F. Splice into the heater supply line and install the in-line shut-off valve. NOTE: The in-line shut-off valve quickly converts the heater into a summer time blower by preventing hot water from flowing to the heater core. Make sure the hoses will not interfere with the hood or touch the exhaust system. Secure the rest of the hoses with large wire ties provided. Refill the cooling system. Start the tractor and inspect system for leaks. Remove clamp And rubber cap FIG B FIG C Cut hose & install T fitting here Remove cap and install hose here. FIG D p. 7 of 9

Route hose behind Exhaust manifold FIG E FIG F ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS: A. At the installer s discretion, mount the two speed rotary heater switch in desired location. B. Using the bullet connectors on the supplied 8 gauge wires, connect the wires to the orange and red wires on the heater. Route the wires to the switch location and cut to length. Connect the lead from the orange motor wire to the H terminal of the switch and the lead from the red motor wire to the L terminal using female push-on connectors. Connect the black wire from the motor to ground. C. Install a female push-on connector to one end of the remaining 8 gauge red wire. Connect to the B terminal on the back of the rotary switch. Route the other end of this wire to a positive feed (through the ignition or fuse box is recommended). Attach to the in-line fuse with a butt connector. Attach the other end of the in-line fuse to the power source. WARNING *** LEAVE the C switch terminal OPEN. This is NOT a ground connection. ROTARY HEATER SWITCH SWITCH KNOB HOUSING NUT TERMINALS SIDE VIEW B H L C HEATER BACK VIEW FRONT VIEW FINISHING TOUCHES: Check heater hoses and make sure they get warm. If not, remove the heater from its mount and let hang from hoses as low as possible. Temporarily put a clamp on the upper radiator hose to force coolant through the heater. As soon as heater gets warm remove the clamp.
