Technical Description Application and Components Features and Application Range of CGF/CGG Ceiling Air Outlets Components of the CGF/CGG ceiling outlets CGF/CGG ceiling air outlets with integrated HEPA filters operate as the last filter stage in efficient filtration of particle-shaped air pollutants of all types, including microorganisms. GEA Delbag ceiling air outlet filters meet the following requirements: Compact design Very easy handling High operating safety thanks to HEPA filters manufactured in established hot-melt pleating method Wide-range filter assortment Measuring device for filter airtight fit with a U-shaped profile seal; alternatively highest fit tightness can be ensured through a fluid seal. The product is used in the following applications: Air handling units in hospitals according to DIN 1946 Part 4 for room class I Operating rooms of type B and relevant adjoining rooms Intensive care units, emergency rooms as well as intermediate wards for special care and care wards for premature babies Clean rooms Pharmaceutical industry Genetic engineering and microbiology Manufacturing of components for semi-conductor and solar panel industry Food product industry, etc. Casing The filter casing consists of the following components: Lateral connector with an integrated shut off flap, airtight shutting according to DIN 1946 Part 4 (a selection with a vertical connector and without a shut off flap is optional). The shut off flap is operated manually or electrically (actuator 230 V or 24V can be selected). Measuring device for airtight fit of HEPA filter with a U-shaped profile seal. Integrated pressure-gauge connection for monitoring pressure drop. Tube for applying test aerosol (checking concentration) Sealing of filters is performed using four easy-to-handle non-slip clamping elements. Mounting of different air diffusers is carried out using central or 4-point locks. For HEPA filters of classes E11 to U15 - the casing can be fitted with a dry seal (PU-foamed, flat and U-shaped profile seal) or with a fluid seal (CGG). The casing is standard designed for HEPA filters with 78 and 90 mm overall depth, if HEPA filters are fitted with a 150 mm frame - the casing height changes by 65 mm. The CGO casing (without HEPA filter) can also be supplied for extract air applications, the measuring and testing devices are not necessary in this case. Using different run-around frames, panels and profiles the casing fitted with an air diffusers can be adjusted to the relevant ceiling construction. Technical Description Components Shut off flap Manual or electrically regulated shut off flap is made of metal sheet, is integrated in the connector and enables airtight separation of the final filter stage from the remaining duct system. In such a way a filter replacement can be carried out without stopping the air handling unit. Before final delivery, the shut off flap is checked according to DIN 1946 Part 4 standards. Corrosion resistance High quality in processing surface finish meets most stringent requirements in individual application areas of these filters. All casing models and air diffuser outlets are by standard in powder coated steel (RAL 9010). Technical Data CGF-R/CGG-R - Using Frame CGF Ceiling Outlet Frame - R This configuration is possible with all CGF types and sizes with the exception of grid arrangement. For labelling - the "R" letter is used as well as size and position of the frame (e.g.: CGF-H-R10/60/623 (250)/0/D22, CGF-VR10/60/470 (200)/K/0, CGF-PR10/ 60/318(100)/K/D40, or CGF -VR 10/30 623/K/ D22= frame width 30, frame overlaps 10 mm the CGF, i.e. is aligned with the outlet). The visible side of the frame is by standard RAL 9010 colour. The frame is riveted and sealed at the CGF by the factory. The suitable size of the through-put opening depends on the ceiling thickness, frame type, connector alignment as well as on whether the flap is used or not on the horizontal round connector. For the R (10/60) standard the opening size varies within nominal size range of CGF+10 mm up to CGF+55 mm. Exceeding 55 mm is not recommended. This configuration is one of the solutions in case of a passage through plasterboard ceilings.
