Organized into fi ve different Business Units Drivelines, Vehicles, Power Controls, Components and Spare Parts each focusing on a specifi c product offer, Carraro Group designs, produces and markets integrated drive systems for earth-moving and mining machines, agricultural tractors, material handling machines, light commercial vehicles, passenger cars and stationary applications (such as escalators). For a few years now, Carraro Group has been developing new expertise and skills in the drives market, obtaining successful results that guarantee its increasing consolidation. The wide range of motordrive units designed and marketed by Carraro is able to provide different solutions to meet customer requirements. These products can be fi tted to many applications: crawled and road rehabilitation vehicles, mining and agricultural equipment, mechanical and plastic industry. We have a wide range of applications Common to all applications is the need for the highest performance and reliability, with limited installation space and minimum component weight. The planetary drive type fulfi ls these requirements in the best possible way, thanks to its coaxial design for hydraulic motor / park-brake/ planetary stages / and output planetary ring gear to fi x a sprocket, wheel-rim, cutter, winch drum or any other rotating working device. The Carraro Mobile Planetary drive range can offer reduction ratios from 6-600 at maximum output torques between 5000 Nm and 2.2000.000 Nm. Different high quality hydraulic motors from Rexroth, Parker, Linde, Sauer-Danfoss or EATON can be fi tted, creating a powerful and compact mobile drive-unit.

2 3 We offer state-of-the-art design The following design elements are common to all Carraro drives: - High capacity taper roller bearings for taking machine weight and working forces. - Grinded gears for perfect load distribution on the planetaries, resulting in planetary stages with up to 7 planetary gears. - Use of high quality forged steel for carrier spindles and planet carriers, enabling the drive to take shock loads even signifi cantly above design criteria. - Integrated wet-disc-type park brake with hydraulic release. - Tempered steel ring gears with surface hardening. In addition... optional features - Disengagement devices available for all fi nal drives - Mechanical drive input, e.g. used for cutter drives - Dynamic brake in addition to park brake, e.g. used in the wheel drive range - 2-speed option Notes The following pages show all available drive variants. The drive name, e.g. F55, indicates the peak torque of the drive in KNm, which can be taken for short duration.
