1. Night vent device n 30140-861 1.1. General The 12 mm night vent position device allows you to ventilate without significant heat and energy loss. Economical and discreet. The night vent position device is especially developed for turn-tilt windows and tilt-turn windows and sets the window in a ventilation position of 12 mm by means of a special wedge on the frame. The frame part is mounted at a fixed distance from the top and the vent part is mounted below the corner transmission. This night vent position device can be turned off and ensures a perfect operation of your window. Very simple operation: -- if the device is disengaged: standard tilt opening of ±170 mm = summer position. -- if the device is operational: tilt opening is restricted to 12 mm = winter position. 1.2. The night vent position device, which is placed on the top side, is especially developed for turn-tilt windows and tilt-turn windows and sets a ventilation position of 4 mm by means of a special wedge on the frame. The frame part is mounted at a fixed distance from the hinge side and the vent part is mounted close to the corner transmission. The ventilation position is reached between the tilt position and the turn position, when the handle is turned over an angle of 45. Function: the locking roller clips into the keep so that the window is temporarily kept closed without having to lock it. 5. Adjustable wedge n 30140-801 Wedge n 30140-801 is adjustable to increase or decrease the compression of the vent gasket. This can be important to ensure wind and water tightness of the window. The wedge is black passivated and can be applied for a frame groove of 14/18 mm and a frame groove of 10/14 mm. The adjustment range of the wedge is from -1 mm to +2 mm: --position -1 : more compression --position 0 : normal position --position +2 : less compression There are 3 marks on the wedge which indicate the 3 positions: C.3.17
6. Reinforcement piece for handle n 30000-691 and -692 N 30000-691 N 30000-692 The reinforcement pieces produce a more solid fixing of the handle. This piece serves as a clamping plate and prevents deformation of the profile wall or in extreme situations prevents the fixing screws being pulled through profile with thin walls. 4. Handle n 20300-659 CYL Handle for tilt-turn windows with similar function as handles n 31000-... CYL, but the key cannot be removed when the grip is rotated 180. The locked cylinder handle has a free run from 0 to 90 which means that the window can always be put in the tilt or ventilation position. The turn position can only be obtained with an unlocked cylinder. When ordering please indicate quantity of left hand and right hand handles. This cover piece has a double function: -- Cover the opening when the handle is removed in order to have a nicer appearance. -- Cover the operating mechanism to avoid abuse: for example hospitals, schools, psychiatric institutes,... 5. Special CHRONO INVISION installation set n 32100-952 5.1. Drive short spinner The drive short spinner has an ergonomic high-strength bi-material handle. The spinner is resistant to common chemicals. Chrome finish. Performance: to ISO 3315, DIN 3122 and NF ISO 3315. 5.2. Universal joint with hexagon The universal joint with embossed hexagon is slowed by a spring. The joint will remain in the adjusted position, in order to reach difficult accessible places.
