PRE-INSTALLATION CAUTIONS / NOTES CAUTION Dealer Installation Recommended. Instructions refer to Service Manual. Please read this instruction carefully before installing this product for correct installation. Please DO NOT use or install the part in ways other than what is described in this instruction manual. If problem occurs during installation, please contact Nissan dealer where you purchased the product. 1) Apply parking brake 2) Confirm the vehicle is no longer in the default shipping state (Extended Storage Switch Pulled Up and BCM in Transit Mode). Failure to confirm the vehicle has been removed from this state will result in the loss of normal vehicle operation. The confirmation requires two checks: 2a) Locate the Extended Storage Switch in the 2b) cabin fuse block. Once located, check that it is in the "Customer" position. See below for reference. Inventory To remove transit mode is by doing as follows: 1. Remove fuse cover lid 2. Push down shorting pin 3. Ign On 2 times without turn the vehicle on INCORRECT CORRECT To put transit mode back is by doing as follows: 1. Ign Off 2. Remove fuse cover lid 3. Pull up shorting pin 4. Assemble fuse cover lid 5. Ign On 2 times without turn the vehicle on 6. Confirm transit mode condition on meter NOTE: Typical vehicle condition shown above. Switch is easily identifiable by the permanent, push-pull fuse holder. Actual position on the fuse block may vary, vehicle to vehicle. CAUTION Make sure the ignition is "OFF" before changing the switch position. Condition Switch Position Note Vehicle is delivered to the dealer Inventory Condition Technician performs PDI Customer Delivery Return switch to Inventory position after PDI. Customer test drives the vehicle Customer Delivery Return switch to Inventory position after test drive. Vehicle is being stored at the dealer Inventory Condition Vehicle is sold and delivered to customer Customer Delivery NOTE: The Extended Storage Switch is only an aid to improve battery life during vehicle storage at the dealer. If the Extended Storage Switch fuse ever needs service after vehicle delivery, discard the Extended Storage Switch and install the correct fuse in its place. 3) Turn ignition switch to "ON" position 4) Record the customer radio presets and other presets as required Preset 1 2 3 4 5 6 5) Put shift lever in "P" position for A/T and CVT or "1st" for M/T 6) Turn ignition switch to "OFF" position Pg. 2 999T8 G2000 II 07/10/2014

PRE-INSTALLATION CAUTIONS / NOTES CAUTION Allow 3 min after key off and doors closed for vehicle to time out. Allow an additional 3 min after negatve terminal dis-connect before seperating any electrical connectors. Fig. 1 7) Disconnect the negative battery terminal as shown in Fig. 1. 8) Use seat and floor protection. 9) This part is to be installed at surface temperature of 65-100 deg.f. CAUTION Take care not to scratch or damage any component during the removal or re-installation. Trim pieces found to have witness marks or broken clips are not to be reinstalled. Additional items in cargo area may need to be removed. Always remove vehicle parts in the sequence shown, impoper procedure can damage parts. Store removed parts in a safe and protected manner. NOTE: Package cover may be is storage compartment, if so skip to step 4. Fig. 6 2) Removing the package cover (if in use). a) Unhook and retract the package cover as shown in Fig. 6. Fig. 7 3) Removing the package cover (if in use). a) Grasp the package cover with both hands and slide the whole assembly to the RH side of the vehicle to collapse and then pull towards the rear of the vehicle to release as shown in Fig. 7. Fig. 30 26) Removing cargo hooks and trim retention bolts. a) Gently pry cargo hook cover up with trim tool as shown in Fig. 30. Fig. 31 27) Removing cargo hooks and trim retention bolts. a) Using a 10mm socket loosen the bolt in the cargo hook. Bolt is integral to hook and should not be seperated from it as shown in Fig. 31. Fig. 32 28) Removing cargo hooks and trim retention bolts. a) Locate the fastener cover closest to the rear of the vehicle (there are two) as shown in Fig. 32. b) Remove the fastener cover using a nylon trim tool as shown in Fig. 32. Fig. 36 32) Removing D pillar trim fasteners. a) On two row vehicles there is an additional cargo hook that needs to be removed directly above this bolt as shown in Fig. 36. b) Gently pry cargo hook cover up with trim tool as shown in Fig. 36. Bolt is integral to hook and should not be seperated from it as shown in Fig. 37. Fig. 38 34) Loosening lower D-pillar trim a) There are three (3) trim clips to loosen before gently prying in towards the interior of the vehicle as shown in Fig. 38. Fig. 39 35) Loosening lower D-pillar trim a) Gently move the trim panel away from the body as shown in Fig. 39 CAUTION Be careful not to stress or crease the panel. Take care not to lose any of the panel clips. Fig. 40 36) Interior Sub Harness Installation a) Disconnect the LH side 4-pin tail lamp connector as shown in Fig. 40. Pg. 13a 999T8 G2000 II 07/10/2014

TAIL LAMP WIRE HARNESS Fig 41 37) Interior Sub Harness Installation a) Install interior trailer harness inline with vehicle harness as shown in Fig. 41. VEHICLE WIRE HARNESS INTERIOR SUB HARNESS Critical Steps: The following steps are critical and must be performed Exactly as specified to ensure proper installation. Fig. 42 38) Interior Sub Harness Installation a) Remove and discard the original 10mm ground bolt as shown in Fig. 42. Fig. 43 39) Interior Sub Harness Installation a) Secure the interior trailer harness ground wire to cluster with special self-tapping ground bolt (M6 X 16) supplied in the kit shown in Fig. 43. b) Using a 10mm socket and torque wrench, torque the special self-tapping ground bolt to 8.0 Nm. Fig. 44 40) Interior Sub Harness Installation a) Place the five (5) cable ties loosely to main harness as shown in Fig. 44. NOTE: It is recommended to keep cable ties loose until entire sub harness has been routed to allow for final adjustment. Pg. 14a 999T8 G2000 II 07/10/2014

Fig. 45 41) Interior Sub Harness Installation a) Continue to route sub harness down along main hanress, secure with one (1) additional tie wrap as shown in Fig. 45. Fig. 46 42) Interior Sub Harness Installation a) Continue to route interior sub harness along main harness, secure with one (1) cable tie as shown in Fig. 46. b) Locate pre wire connector on the RH side of jack opening as shown in Fig. 46. Fig. 47 43) Interior Sub Harness Installation a) It is held in place with tear away tape. Grasp firmly and gently pull free as shown in Fig. 47. Fig. 52 48) Interior Sub Harness & Convertor Installation a) Press the converter firmly into place, to ensure even contact to the body as shown in Fig. 52. b) Secure converter harness to the body with 1 piece of urethane tape as shown in fig. 52. c) Continue routing interior sub harness along main harness, secure with one (1) cable tie as shown in Fig. 52. CAUTION Pass the grommet all the way through the hole and then seat the grommet. Make sure the grommet completely seated and forms a seal before proceeding with the next steps. RE-INSTALLATION PROCEDURE FOR REMOVED PARTS: Re-install all removed vehicle parts. Refer to the vehicle service manual if more detail is needed CAUTION Use caution when re-installing interior components to avoid damage, scratches or breaking of mounting clips. Inspect the installation area for any debris or metal shavings. Clean as necessary with a shop vacuum. Install fuse cover. Install intake tube to air box. Make sure all trim clips are in their retainers and press D-pillar trim panel back into place. Install 3rd row LH striker latch. Install Jack storage cover Press rear door bulb seal back into place. Install spare tire well cover. Install rear sill plate. Place package cover in storage area (if so equipped). Install the LH package cover storage area trim piece. Install the RH package cover storage area trim piece. Set the package cover storage area lid in its holder. Hook retention straps to the package cover storage area lid. Place the package cover storage area lid in the closed position.. Return 3rd row seats to their upright position (if so equipped). Connect negative - terminal to battery. Perform system check. CAUTION Allow 3 min after Negaitve terminal connection with doors closed before unlocking and/or keying on the vehicle. Pg. 21 999T8 G2000 II 07/10/2014

FINAL INSPECTION: Verify re-installed trim parts for proper flush fit (no gap, no waviness, etc.). Verify all clips are fully engaged and locked. Verify re-installed trim parts are free from cracks, scratches or stress marks. Verify vehicle seats, steering wheel, floor carpets, etc. are not soiled. Verify interior and exterior of vehicle is not damaged. Turn ignition switch to "ON" and confirm proper operation of Vehicle Systems Verify all windows and sunroof (If equipped), one touch operation and perform the reset procedure if necessary. Refer to the vehicle service manual for more details. Power Back Door (If equipped). - Turn on the car, push and note if trunk opens. Tail Lamp - Turn on headlamps; open glove box and note whether light goes on. Start vehicle. Note whether vehicle starts. Front Sonar Module Connector - Turn on vehicle, put vehicle in 'Drive'. Move slowly towards a large object in front of the vehicle. Note whether alarm sounds. Rear Sonar Module Connector - Turn on vehicle, put vehicle in 'Reverse'. Move slowly towards a large object behind the vehicle. Note whether alarm sounds. Start engine and verify that there are no new Diagnostic Trouble Codes. Turn ignition switch to "OFF". Place the Owner Manual, Quick Reference Guide, and/or other Manual in the glove box. Re-program radio presets and other vehicle settings to the recorded settings. No need to do this step if the extended storage switch is placed in the "inventory" position. If this vehicle will be returned to a dealer lot or showroom for an extended period of time, be sure the extended storage switch is placed in the "inventory" position. Check Out CAUTION The following steps assume that a trailer or harness tester is not available to verify that the system is operational. The remainder of this Check out requires two individuals to complete for safety purposes. If a trailer or tester is available complete the following steps by simply verifying the lamp operation of the trailer. If any of the lamps fail to illuminate, a volt meter and test light should be used as described to verify wiring is operating correctly. Verify shifter is in the park position with the Ign Sw in the on position, vehicle should not be running. Turn the switch on the column stalk to "ON" and confirm proper operation of Vehicle Systems Use volt meter to confirm voltage between the ground pin and LH Tail Lamp signal. Use volt meter to confirm voltage between the ground pin and RH Tail Lamp signal. Use volt meter to confirm voltage between the ground pin and LH stop signal when brake is depressed. Use volt meter to confirm voltage between the ground pin and RH stop signal when brake is depressed. Use volt meter to confirm voltage between the ground pin and LH turn signal when the column stalk is moved to the appropriate position. Use volt meter to confirm voltage between the ground pin and RH turn signal when the column stalk is moved to the appropriate position. If equipped, verify all window and sunroof one touch operation and perform the reset procedure if necessary. Refer to the vehicle service manual for more details.
