KNOW YOUR S STORAGE - Always store tyres in an area that is clean, cool and well ventilated. Avoid storing in areas that are exposed to direct sunlight - Ensure tyres are stored away from oily, greasy and corrosive substances. Contact with any such substance could damage the tyre and shorten normal tyre life - Ensure that whilst tyres are being stored, inside the tread, sidewalls and bead area are kept clean and dry. If debris, dirt or moisture gets inside the tyre, this could hinder proper performance and cause the tyre to fail once fitted and put into operation KNOW YOUR S INSTALLATION - Ensure you choose the correct tyre in accord with the vehicle type and application. If unsure, speak to your local tyre shop or seek correct industry advice - The specification of the rim should always comply with safety regulations - Do not use distorted or rusted rims - When a tube is being fitted, lubricant must be applied - Tubeless tyres should never be mounted on type-type rims. They should be mounted on tubeless-only rims - When a new tube type tyre is mounted, a new tube should be fitted at the same time. In the case of a tubeless tyre being fitted, the old valve should be replaced to a new one - Ensure moisture and dirt is kept out of the tyre, tube and flap during installation - Tyres should be installed in compliance with the rolling indicator which is shown by an arrow on the tyre sidewall - After installation, ensure the bead and rim line up well. Check for air leakages - Ensure the tyre won t collide or scape on any part of the vehicle - If fitting dual tyres, the two tyres should be of exactly the same size for even weight distribution. If one has to be smaller, it should be fitted on the inner side of the axle - Improper mounting can result in a tyre explosion. Before being inflated, tyres should be placed into a safety cage or protection device whilst inflating to minimise risk of injury KNOW YOUR S MAINTENANCE - Always seek expert inspection when tyres are damaged or impaired - Always remove tyres from service before they reach the tread wear indicator bars - Tyres more than five years old should be dutifully inspected before use. Do not use tyres which are 10 years old or more - When cleaning tyres and rims, ensure cleaning substance is non corrosive - Pay attention to maximum loads and corresponding pressures. Tyre pressure should be checked regularly Standard Rim Safety Warning : Serious injury may result from tyre failure due to under-inflation/overloading. Follow owners manual or tyre placard in vehicle.
