Auxiliary voltage supply REVO SSR and REVO S1PH: 12-24VAC/DC are necessary only with HB option. REVO A 1PH: 12-24V AC/DC are requested. Heater break alarm Mounting Discrimination better than 20%. Circuit microprocessor based to diagnose partial or total load failure and short circuit on Thyristor. Latching alarm plus reset. Relay output 1A at 230V. Automatic calibration of one or more unit at the same time using a dedicated digital input or using for each unit the calibration button. Din rail mounting up to 40A included for all the models with heatsink (REVO S/A 1PH), for other type of mounting see the option; IP20 protection. Temperature Operating Temperature for units with heatsink REVO S 1PH and REVO A 1PH 0 40 C up to 40 A included, for higher temperature see the derating curve. Current/Temperature ratio for units supplied without heatsink. REVO SSR The nominal current depend by the heatsink choosed and by the ambient temperature. See tab 062, 070 and 090
OPTION AND DETAILS: INTEGRATED FUSE AND FUSE HOLDER Save 50% of the internal spaces inside the cabinet. Save the spaces lost over the unit due to the fuse holder and will let you save the wiring of one cable from the fuse holder to the unit. HEATER BREAK ALARM OPTION (HB) Microprocessor based. Self learning of current set, via external command or push button on front unit. Load failure with alarm latch. Thyristor short circuit diagnostic. Alarm reset function and possibility to auto reset the alarm if the normal working condition is restored. Alarm output with free voltage contact. Available from up to 40 A incl. Full insulation between SSR output coming from controller/multi loop and power supply, no common zero in our unit. Easy and fast substitution /calibration of the unit (also not expert people can do it easy. 12-24 Vac-dc Auxiliary Power Supply is requested with HB option. Available with SSR input (REVO SSR and REVO S 1PH), 0 10V & 4 20mA analog input (REVO A 1PH). INTERNAL CURRENT TRANSFORMER (ICT) Internal current transformer with Heater Break Up to 40A the current transformer is placed inside the unit as a standard. This features can save wiring cost and spaces inside the cabinet. ICT OPTION ONLY Up to the 40A the current transformer can be placed inside the unit for an external current detection, Ex: From a discrete temperature controller with current monitoring or Heater Break. The internal current transformer is sized depending by the nominal current chosen. For the units without heat sink, specify the target nominal current desired on the notes. ANALOG INPUT REVO A - ANALOG INPUT OPTION and BURST FIRING It is available up to 40 A with Burst firing on REVO A 1PH. Possibility to chose between 4 20mA or 0 10V input. Burst Firing is selectable with link jumper between BF04 08 16 cycles on at 50% power demand. Heater break alarm is available as an option. This unit must be used for 1PH loads only. 12-24 Vac-dc Auxiliary Power Supply is Requested. FLAT Cable system is available as an option to connect 12-24 Vac-dc Auxiliary Power Supply is available to save wirings time. BURST FIRING This firing performed in digital mode in our unit gives a lot of advantage because switch thyristor faster than normal ZC and at the same time without EMC interferences. Analogue input is necessary for BF and can be decided how many complete cycles We wont at 50% of power demand. On REVO A with analog input option, this value can be 04, 08 or 16. To have a better resolution you must choose REVO M 1PH series, where the BF value can be implemented from 1 to 255 complete cycles doing the firing less or more fast. When 1 is selected the firing name becomes Single Cycle.
REVO WITH FLAT CABLE CONNECTION Reduce the wiring cost with the flat cable system: The Flat cable connection option on REVO S and Revo A series will let you save wiring when HB or Analog input options are used. The cable connections of the auxiliary voltage supply and all the HB Alarm are already wired. For this features it s necessary to have N 1 REVO TU every 10 REVO with flat wiring option. REVO S WITH SAFETY RELAY (soon available) Hot N Thyristo r unit Fuse + Fuse Rel The safety relay is an extra protection that can brake the circuit in case of thyristor short circuit or in other case of alarm coming from a controller. If is supplied with fuse holder in a combination like the ones on the right, the circuit can let you remove a broken resistance with more safety. Infact breaking the circuit in two point no poles receeve voltage. REVO SSR + CUSTOM HEATSINK (soon available) CD Automation offer different kind of heatsink where is possible to mount all the REVO SSR or SAR series sold without the heatsink. (soon available )
