APPLICATION Low voltage LED lighting fixtures using remote driver platforms are ideally suited to applications that require easy access to LED drivers for routine maintenance and improved LED life and reliability. Remote driver platforms are especially useful in hard to access ceilings and where historical or important architectural features cannot be disturbed after lighting fixtures are installed. Flexible remodel style downlight is suitable for applications where an existing ceiling is present and the benefits of energy saving, long life LED lamp sources are desired. PRODUCT DATA REFLECTOR: Dual-optic system includes upper cone which determines the beam distribution and lower reflector to finish the ceiling without glare. Standard finish is soft clear Alzak with matching polished flange. Other custom color reflectors are available. Consult factory. Optional goof ring accessory (model RMGR69W) is available to cover holes that are larger than 6.75". Maximum ceiling cutout with goof ring is 8.3", without goof ring it is 6.75". Overall diameter is 9". REMODEL/RETROFIT HOUSING: Installs in existing ceiling openings and accommodates ceiling thicknesses of ½" to 1" deep. Heavy-gauge spun aluminum ceiling collar features four spring clips that firmly secure housing to ceiling material. Galvanized steel yoke supports LED module and engineered heat sink that provides proper thermal management for optimum longevity. LED module is serviceable from below. ELECTRICAL: Fixture designed to be used with remote low voltage power distribution systems. Includes a quick connect power connector and thermal protection module. See table for wattages and delivered lumens at various drive currents. LED MODULE: Bridgelux Vero 29 COB offers superior efficiency, stable consistent color and good color rendering CRI = 80. Available in 90 CRI. Expected lamp life to be 50,000 hours with 70% lumen maintenance when ambient temperatures do not exceed 45 C. Lower ambient temperatures yield longer lamp life.
