Hydraulic machines omag "ES" series have variable cutting angle and powered back gauge at one speed with 600 mm of stroke. Availability of several accessories improve the features of this machine. Frame : Is made of high strength steel plate, laser cut, welded and strengthened in order to determine the maximum stiffness, welded, stress relieved, sand blasted, machined on CNC machining centers, cleaned, primed & Cylinders : double acting, they are made of steel and lapped; shafts are also in steel and hardened. Blade holder : it runs in vertical guides and it is controlled directly by two standard cylinders and it is driven by a roll-bearings system. Hold down cylinders : being independent, the tightening power is automatically adjusted following the thickness of the metal to be cut. Blades : both the top and bottom blades have 4 cutting edges. Working cycles : single. Cutting angle adjustment : by 3 positions selector. Blade gap adjustment : it is obtained by acting on 2 levers placed on the side of the machine which are equipped with an indicator. The GHB series of shears are designed to satisfy the most stringent requirements in sheet and plate shearing. This series has the omag quality and many optional equipment / features. 8

VARIABLE RAKE ANGLE HYDRAULIC SHEAR "GHB" SERIES The hydraulic shears OMAG mod. GHB are built with a length from 3 to 8 and a cutting capacity from 6 to 30 millimetres. Frame : it is in made under rolled, welded and strengthened steel in order to ensure the maximum rigidity. Cylinders : at double effect, they are in steel and lapped; shafts are also in steel and hardened. Blade holder : it runs on a vertical table and it is directly controlled by two standard cylinders and it is driven by a roll-bearings system. Hold-down cylinders : they are independent, therefore the thightening force is automatically adjusted in relation to the thickness of the sheet to be cut. Blades : both the top and bottom blades are at 4 cutting edges. Working cycles : single and automatic. Cutting angle adjustment : it is carried out through push-buttons integrated into the polycarbonate control panel. Operation is hydraulic. Blades gap adjustment : it is carried out by acting on two leverisms placed outside the housings. OPTIONAL FOR GHB SERIES HYDRAULIC REAR SHEET SUPPORT The sheet support is an hydraulic device placed behind the shear to hold the sheet before the cutting operation. It's suggested for cutting sheet of small thick and large width. This device avoids mistakes due to the fall-down of sheet and allows to keep the pre -set measure. Our rear sheet support has besides a first stop at the middle of the stroke to avoid the sliding of sheet under the hold down pis- This equipment is integrated with the cutting cycle and grants a simply and profitable use; its switching off is possible by a pushbutton on the control panel. POWERED BLADE GAP ADJUSTMENT The blade gap and the cutting angle are two devices that optimize the cutting operation. A right use of these two devices grants to carry out cuts without All our standard GHB shears have the manual adjustment of blade gap. This adjustment is carried out by two levers sliding on the graduated scale. As optional is possible have a powered blade gap adjustment managed by six push-buttons on the control 18

CUTTING STROKE DEVICE The cutting stroke device allows to stop the upper blade at a pre-set point of stroke. This device allows to save time during the production cycle. BACK GAUGE The back gauge of GHB shears can be supplied with some optionals: - Stroke 1000 mm. instead of standard stroke of 700 mm. for deeper cutting. - Recirculating ball screws instead of standard cold-formed ones. This improves cutting accu- - Tilting back gauge. This device allows to make cuts deeper than ones allowed by the standard back gauge stroke. The tilting can be coupled only with back gauge stroke of 1000 mm. Frame : it is made of high strength steel plate, welded, stress relieved, sand blasted, machined on CNC machining centers then primed and painted for ensuring the maximum rigidity and accuracy. Cylinders : are double acting and are made of special steel, ground and lapped; shafts are induction hardened ground and hard chrome surfaced. OPTIONAL FOR EPB PRESS BRAKE Numerical Control CPC123 CPC123 is a numerical control for conventional press brakes and shears designed in our factory. This device is able to control from 1 to 3 axes, Y, X and R. Easy use and direct dialogue between operator and the NC allows bending of complicated parts. The auto diagnostics offers excellent reliability during the working operation. CPC123 is composed of a mother-board on which is set the CPU and all the necessary components for the controls of Y, X and R axes. It is possible to store 300 different bends divided into 99 programs with a maximum length of 99 bends. During the creation of a program the Numerical Control itself leads the operator and points out the possible mistakes. The position of the axes are checked in real time to avoid collisions. Bending angle adjustment The press brakes EPB series up to 3500 kn are equipped with a manual bending angle adjustment. It is possible to fit the machine with motorized bending angle adjustment. Motorized bending angle (Y axis) Anti-deflection device The press brakes EPB series can be equipped with an anti-deflection device manually adjusted. This device allows to compensate the deflection either the bed or the table. Top tool anti deflection device The press brakes EPB series can be equipped with a top tool anti-deflection device manually adjusted. This device, joint to the anti-deflection device above mentioned, allows to further improve the bending accuracy. We suggest to use this system, together with the anti deflection table, when very high bending accuracy is needed. Sliding front supports The press brakes EPB series can be equipped with two different type of front supports : -MA2 Front arm for sheet laying with millimeter scale and lateral nuts -SAM Front arm for sheet laying, manual longitudinal sliding, vertical adjustment by mean of a hand-wheel, millimeter scale and lateral nuts. THROAT DEPTH The press brakes OMAG PHB series from 600 to 3000 kn can be built with a throat depth of 500 mm instead of the standard one. Throat depth 500 mm. HYDRAULIC ANTI-DEFLECTION DEVICE The press brakes PHB series can be equipped with an anti-deflection device hydraulically operated and connected with DNC. This device allows to compensate the deflection either in the bed or the table. A correct use of this system can reduce the bending error due to the wear of the tools and to the natural deflection either the bad or the table. We suggest the use of this device on the press brakes from 4000 to 7500 kn. This device allows to compensate the deflection either the bed or the table. We suggest the use of this device on the press brakes from 600 to 3000 kn. TOP TOOL ANTI-DEFLECTION DEVICE The PHB press brakes series can be equipped with a top tool anti-deflection device manually adjusted. This device, joint to the anti-deflection device above mentioned, allows to further improve the bending accuracy. HYDRAULIC CLAMPING The PHB press brakes series can be equipped with hydraulic clamping of the top tool. The control of this device is set in the electric cabinet. Fast replacement of the upper tool is possible turning the proper selector placed on the control panel. We suggest this system to customers needing frequent tool changes. SLIDING FRONT SUPPORTS The press brakes PHB series can be equipped with three different type of front supports : -MA2 Front arm for sheet laying with mm scale and lateral nuts -SAM/1 Front arm for sheet laying, manual longitudinal sliding, vertical adjustment by mean of handwheel, millimeter scale and lateral nuts. -SAM/2 Front arm for sheet laying, manual longitudinal sliding, vertical adjustment by mean of hand wheel, millimeter scale, lateral nuts and sliding balls. Front arm SAM/1 -SAMP N 2 front bending supports with movement by D.C. motor, manual longitudinal sliding by quote display, vertical adjustment by mean of hand wheel. Metal plate support with brush and holder shafts. Dimensions 350 x 900 mm. with possibility of retracting extension dimensions 120x1500 mm. Maximum using angle 0 60. The control is carried out by numerical control and for this reason every couple of support bending represent 2 axes of DNC.
