44 th Broadmoor High Festival 2017 Show hours: Friday, November 17 th, 3:00-9:00 pm, & Saturday, November 18 th 9:00 am- 4:00 pm. **Read completely before agreeing to join our show** This is a show of approximately 300 vendors held on a school campus. We try hard not to change booth assignments but due to the ever changing technology that comes to our students this is sometimes hard to do. Please remember this when considering joining us. Also we ask that all participants to their best to get along with their neighbors this show is one big entity when we all are here and we need each other s kindness, cooperation and prayers to make this show as successful as it can be. The check in location is located to the main office. Your assign time to check in will be included in your detail pack mailed about mid Oct. NO ONE WILL BE ALLOWED ON CAMPUS BEFORE 3:00 PM THURSDAY. In the event you cannot come at the given time on Thursday, you may come between 8:00 10:00 am. Or 12:00 2:00 Friday. Out of town people with big trailers, trucks, and vans that need to work out of them should come in Thursday and set up. Trailers not attached to your vehicles will need to have a special parking permit. Before parking your trailer tape permit near the license plate. Everyone must be checked in by noon on Friday or your booth will be given to a craftsman on our hold list. **Late check ins will be required to park behind the gym to unload regardless of booth location. PARKING DURING SHOW HOURS: No vehicle will be allowed to drive on campus between 10:00 & 12:00, Friday. School buses, school personnel, and all students must have access to campus parking and departure routs. No vehicle may park in front of school, main office, school bus loading zone, student parking area, or faculty area. You must have your temporary parking pass to enter campus. This pass will be enclosed in your detail pack mailed mid Oct. One vehicle per booth. IN THE EVENT OF RAIN ALL EXHIBITORS WILL BE REQUIRED TO PARK OFF CAMPUS. PARKING IS AVAILABLE AT BROADMOOR BAPTIST CHURCH, BROADMOOR MIDDLE SCHOOL, AND BROADMOOR SHOPPING CENTER. ADMISSION FEES: Admission fees are charged to the public. Craftsmen will be issued name tags -4 for Friday and 4 for Saturday. These passes will be in your check in pack and must be worn at all times. The tags help our school personnel identify artists. Anyone not wearing a name tag will be charged an admission fee. ALL CRAFTSMEN ARE LIMITED TO A TOTAL OF 4 TAGS PER DAY. TAX PROCEDURE: Collection of taxes is the responsibility of the artists. Tax forms will be included in your check in packets. City parish tax forms may be turned into the attendance office or mailed when you get home. TAX FORMS MUST BE COMPLETED AND TURNED IN REGARDLESS OF HOW YOU FILE. If you have any questions regarding your taxes please call (225)389-3088. A list of all attending vendors is submitted to the appropriate tax office. SET UP PROCEDURE: NO ONE WILL BE ALLOWED ON CAMPUS BEFORE 3:00 PM THURSDAY. Inside booth areas doors will be locked at 10:00 p.m. Please remain with your booth until building is secured. We suggest that you cover your items. Covered walk and tents are not secured. Set up table, backdrops, & check out electrical connections. Please remember school is in session all day on Friday. Do not leave your booth unattended. Do not block driveways or entrances. Park in your designated area. Buses must come and go. If in doubt, park off campus. Ride the shuttle bus after 4:00 p.m. Friday. Shuttle bus runs from Broadmoor Middle School & Broadmoor Shopping Center. LIGHTING & ELECTRICITY: Individual tents & outside booths should bring camp-like lighting which operates by battery in the event you are unable to hook up to electricity. Small generators are available from rental stores. Marine batteries also may be used for lighting. INDIVIDUAL TENTS MUST BE SECURED. All booths are required to have UL approved heavy-duty extension cord with multiple 6 outlet centers with a circuit breaker included. Covered walk areas need long heavy duty extension cords & electrical socket adapters along with multiple 6 outlet centers with circuit breakers included if you are using electricity. Cafeteria:

A building: GYM: Auditorium: Courtyards: Covered Walks: Galley: Satellite Area: Lights limited. Only 25 watt bulbs will be allowed, using a total of 100 watts. Use a multi circuit power strip. Other artists will need to plug into your circuit. Furnish your own lighting. Need extension cords. Lighting but additional lighting allowed up to 100 watts. Furnish your own lighting. Need extension cords. Please be conservative with lighting. Overloads due to Artists wattage use has occurred in the past. This artist will not be allowed to attend to future show. BOOTH ASSIGNMENT: BECAUSE OF AREA CLOSURES BOOTH AREAS WILL BE RE-NUMBERED BOOTH NUMBER WILL NOT BE REVEALED UNTIL YOU SIGN IN AND PICK UP YOUR ARTIST CHECK IN PACK. Please check in at your allotted time. After setting up, stay within your space. Do not place chairs, boxes, or other items outside your booth area. Booth may be videotaped by identified cameraman. Late comers may lose booth location. PLEASE COME PREPARED FOR RAIN! YOU WILL NEED PLASTIC COVERINGS FOR BOOTH AND SOME TYPE OF FLOOR COVERING UNDER TENTS. BROADMOOR HIGH WILL NOT PROVIDE HAY. PAYMENT Payments should be made to Broadmoor High School Arts & Crafts Festival and mailed to: Broadmoor High School 10100 Goodwood Blvd Baton Rouge, LA. 70815 BROADMOOR HIGH ARTS & CRAFTS POLICIES AND PROCEDURES: No transfer of ownership of booth. No early breakdowns. ONE vehicle on campus to unload per entry (this includes, groups, church, etc.) All club members to park off campus All vehicles and trailers parked on campus must have official parking pass. Parking permit with name must visible on dash before entering to unload. To enter campus you must have an unloading pass. All vendors are required to park in the assigned vendor parking area. No individual booth signs can be place outside booth. Artist responsible for picking up State and City Tax forms and remitting taxes. Disclaimer must be signed. Bring multiple outlet circuit breakers. Security provided Thursday and Friday night but we do not recommend you leave your merchandise. All equipment, merchandise, and chair must remain with the booth space. Requests for refund must be made in writing. No refunds issued after October 1 st. Payment of booth rental must be made in full by October 15 TH to be listed in the Broadmoor High Festival program. No booth carry overs You cannot enter campus before your designated check in time. Broadmoor High School reserves the right to cancel the festival at any time due to unforeseen circumstances or an act of God.
