MHL360 E MATERIAL HANDLING MACHINE Technical specifications Operating weight 43.5 t 48.8 t Engine output 190 kw Reach Up to 18 m Unique features State-of-the-art technologies and unsurpassed quality achieve a significant increase in efficiency Higher engine output, combined with Stage IIIB/Tier 4i emission standards compliance results in considerably lower emissions and fuel consumption Intelligent cockpit design and a user-friendly operator information system Closed swing circuit Hose rupture valves with regeneration on the lift and stick cylinders for fuel-efficient work

SETTING NEW STANDARDS IN PERFORMANCE The new MHL360 E More power, lower fuel consumption and that is just the beginning: The new MHL360 E raises the bar in the field of cutting-edge scrap handling technology with an even more sophisticated hydraulic system, energy recovery, and a highly comfortable cockpit than previous models. With its combination of power and reduced emissions, as well as a hydraulic system that is both powerful and sensitive at the same time, the machine makes it possible to complete even the most challenging material handling tasks smoothly and efficiently. With an operating weight of 43.5 48.8 tonnes and a reach of up to 18 m, the MHL360 E is a veritable scrap handling powerhouse Ideal for use at ports A new hydraulic system design provides improved handling capacity and efficiency Excellent stability thanks to a wide undercarriage base and reinforced steel structure BlueEVOLUTION technology means the MHL360 E is ready for today s strict emission standards 02

YOUR HIGH-SPEC WORK STATION Reducing the workload. Relieving the stress. The MHL360 E operator control environment sets new standards in ergonomics and comfort. Even on the toughest jobs, our exclusive new generation of air-cushioned driver seats make this a good place to work. Intuitive joystick control, a multi-function button and keys for direct access to individual machine functions all make machine operation simple. All the relevant information is clearly presented to the driver on a high-resolution, high-contrast display screen. Structural safety has also been improved by strengthening the protective steel cab structure to meet the latest EU Machinery Directive. The driver is assisted by a rear-view camera (fitted as standard), which provides an excellent overview of the region behind the machine. Ergonomically designed, well planned interior. Aided by the colour display and the operator console, the driver can easily control every major function from the quiet comfort of his seat in the centre of the soundproofed cab Standard equipment: the rear-view camera provides a wide-angle view of the area behind the machine Comfortable interior equipment driver s seat design based on latest ergonomics research Intuitive machine controls simple-to-operate joystick, direct access to key functions Everything in view job-relevant information clearly displayed on the central highres, highcontrast WVGA colour display screen, with anti-glare shield fitted as standard Simple start/stop button (operates when ignition switched on) Improved field of view and an even better view to the rear when reversing or performing complex manoeuvres thanks to the integral rear-view camera, fitted as standard The whole cab concept is designed to support the driver and lighten his load, and promote a comfortable and productive environment 03

FASTER AND MORE PRECISE THAN BEFORE The machine s sophisticated hydraulic system is yet another Terex Fuchs highlight The new hydraulic system design of the MHL360 E provides even greater power and handling efficiency than before. The use of separate circuit systems means that the swiveling unit can be forcefully started and stopped without this having an impact on the rest of the hydraulic system. In addition, it makes it possible to perform simultaneous swiveling and lifting maneuvers at high speeds with utmost precision even when handling large loads. The energy recovery system in the hydraulic system is also an innovation worth mentioning: When the superstructure retards, the braking energy is fed back into the main pump. Moreover, standard hose rupture valves with regeneration helps ensure that the system requires lower pump delivery rates, saving additional energy in the process. These features not only reduce the load on the engine, but also increase the machine s handling capacity up to 20% compared to the D-series while maintaining the same levels of fuel consumption. 04 The new MHL360 E features a highly efficient cooling system: Advanced flow design, self-regulating fan drive, and thermally insulated cooling systems provide outstanding cooling performance even under adverse conditions. Maintenance is easier by design: Special access steps, large standing platforms improve accessibility to all components, and a clearly-arranged electrical system all help reduce service complexity

PERFORMANCE UP, EMISSIONS DOWN BlueEVOLUTION : The future generation stronger, quieter and cleaner than ever Evolution means a continuous development of the good to the even better. Terex has employed this philosophy on our Terex Fuchs material handlers from the beginning, making us the innovation leader in this market. The driving force of these efforts is our aim to provide the most modern technologies and the best quality to you, our customer. BlueEVOLUTION represents our latest step forward, an all-embracing intelligent set of energy-related measures harmonizing, performance, resource saving, and operating costs. Efficiency and innovation are at the heart of BlueEVOLUTION. The new MHL360 E has been equipped with a more powerful turbo-diesel engine, which not only boasts an impressive increase in output, but also uses significantly less fuel protecting the environment and reducing your costs at the same time. The engine s high-performance cooling unit keeps the engine at the ideal temperature level, and thus increases its efficiency. The engine works in harmony with our load sensing hydraulic system, which provides the power you need on demand, but doesn t waste fuel generating excess hydraulic flow. The complete package offers a future-oriented solution for performance-oriented material handling businesses with a strong sense of responsibility who are already thinking of tomorrow today. The Terex Fuchs MHL360 E machine with BlueEVOLUTION technology meets strict TIER4i/IIIB emission limits Despite systematically reducing emission levels, engine power has been increased to 190 kw Low fuel consumption puts the brakes on operating costs caused by today s high oil prices Intelligent engine management and a high-performance cooling system protects against overloading and deliver real benefits in efficiency A powerful new heart beats quietly inside the Terex Fuchs MHL360 E: a 6-cylinder engine at the cutting edge of technology a great platform for efficient energy use. Through BlueEVOLUTION, we re not just helping your business, but also this blue planet we all live on Burner Fuel supply air pump Diesel particle filter 05

The fully reengineered hydraulic system design in particular provides previously inconceivable performance levels in terms of efficiency and speed, performing day after day of demanding work. And it goes without saying that operators will be able to control this powerhouse with utmost safety and precision from the unit s high-comfort cab, which has numerous features designed to provide a comfortable and ergonomic working environment. Product range/standard machines Ever since the business was founded in 1888, the Fuchs name has signified a wealth of ideas and innovation. Whether developing the legendary Fuchs 301 cable excavator in 1957 or patenting the elevatable cab in 1975, pioneering technical advances have shaped the brand s history right up to the present day, and helped Terex Fuchs machines to win their reputation for top quality workmanship and endurance. Terex Fuchs focuses its resources on clearly defined areas of application, offering highperformance materials handlers to the recycling, scrap handling, port and timber industries. This concentration on core sectors delivers important user benefits: instead of standard off-the-shelf products, we provide tailored, highly customisable machine solutions, which can be adapted to the precise needs of our customers.
