The LGM System Your specialist for synchronous hydraulics
It is simply the best, if hydraulic cylinders are moved synchronously. Our product advantages Reduction of the system costs No electronic control Low-maintenance system Great accuracy at different loads Noiseless operation Product specific features Compact design Synchronous operation up to 16 hydraulic cylinders Nonsynchron circuitry for flexible use Operation at 20 to 700 bar 1 valve for all hydraulic cylinders
Our LGM system is a highly mechanical synchronising device, which uses the dosing principle for synchronism. By means of the main and the metering piston the required oil volume is precisely dosed with high accuracy in a compact construction at freely selectable volumes. A large main piston is connected up with several metering pistons of same size. The main piston drive circuit and the metering piston circuit are not connected with each other and can be operated with different fluids. In order to ensure that the fluid in the metering piston and the main piston move at the same speed and the same pressure, the entire piston surface of the metering piston has the same size as the main piston surface. There is no pressure transmission. When the pressure increases at the cylinder with the higher load, the pressure at the main piston is increased by the corresponding partial amount. The control By means of the LGM control block, different functions and different movement can be carried out. We use the non synchronous circuitry to move the hydraulic cylinder to a resistance, subsequently the power stroke can be carried out synchronously. In order to prevent undesirable air pockets, the LGM has the flushing and venting function, which is also used to start-up and synchronously the system. The pressure and speed of the system can be controlled by a proportional valve. This movement is synchronously passed from the metering piston to the hydraulic cylinder connected. The synchronously operated hydraulic cylinder can be secured by means of a load lowering valve.
Compression compensation Basically, the tolerance of the synchronous run is influenced by the fluids used. In case of hydraulic oil, the compression volume is indicated at 0.7 percent per 100 bar. Exemplary calculation: A hydraulic cylinder with a piston diameter of 300 mm and a stroke of 500 mm has a volume 35.34 l. At a pressure of 300 bar, the volume is reduced by 0.7422 l. This results in a stroke change of 10.5 mm. Many applications, which require synchronous operation, cannot operate reliably with such a deviation. In order to avoid such deviations, proportionately controlled synchronous systems are used usually, in which an elaborate control is used to downregulate the maximum pressure level. Lemacher hydraulic compression compensation In order to rule out compression faults and to further improve the accuracy of the LGM system, we have developed a compensation which regulates this deviation. By means of our compensation we have managed to reduce the deviation by more than 85 percent. The linear synchronous flow divider system with the Lemacher compensation reaches a maximum of precision without any loss of time. At an efficiency of over 97 percent this system is a very good synchronous flow solution from an economical and energy-efficient point of view. The machine availability in continuous use is exceptionally high. Restriction will not be caused by maintenance and servicing. Saving plant costs is possible by synchronously controlling 2 to 16 hydraulic cylinders with a proportional valve. No elaborate electronics have to be fitted. Energy is required only for the work only. This development is promoted by an individual ZIM module project of the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Energy (BMWi) through EuroNorm GmbH.
In use since 1994. Due to the development of the compensation, the linear synchronous flow divider system is used for new tasks again and again. On account of its economic way of working, its easy maintenance and the minimum servicing required, the LGM is successfully employed by our customers. Use the advantages of Lemacher Hydraulik linear synchronous flow divider system - LGM Comparing LGM LGM synchro system Proportionally controlled synchronism Compact design low-maintenance system Large space requirement No electronic control Laborious start-up Maintenance and care High energy efficiency due to an efficiency of 97 percent Very precise in real time Synchronizer unit for up to 16 hydraulic cylinder The system control of the hydraulic cylinders connected is ensured by 1 proportional valve and 1 load lowering valve Clear cost calculation for product costs and costs of start-up Extensive control programme The energy demand is much higher All driven hydraulic cylinders need their own proportional valves and lowering brake valves Other synchronising systems, such as gearwheel flow divider or hydraulic axes, are not comparable as these systems have high inaccuracies which do not permit a comparison. Due to the expenses of start-up, which cannot be calculated safely, and the components required, a clear calculation is not possible.
