HEAD UNIT DRUM BRAKE SAF hub unit The SAF hub unit is a ompat unit of the hub and the bearing. It is fully fatory-adjusted and enapsulated. The SAF hub unit is maintenane-free. Spherial bearing The brake has spherial bearings, i.e. the brake pads have a very long servie life. SAF brake pads SAF brake pads are asymmetrially shaped by omputer modelling and are subjet to strit prodution ontrol on an ongoing basis. Spherial bearing The brake shoes on the SAF axle are mounted around a spherial head. Thanks to their unique geometry, the shoes an move in all diretions, distributing the fore more evenly aross the pads, whih therefore an be used muh longer.
