INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS READ ALL OF THESE INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE INSTALLING THE TRACK SYSTEM SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS AND REFER TO THEM WHEN ADDITIONS TO OR CHANGES IN THE TRACK CONFIGURATION ARE MADE THE BELOW TRACK COMPONENTS ARE FOR USE WITH "TR1" AND "TR2" TRACK ONLY. ONLY THE FOLLOWING TRACK FIXTURE SERIES ARE FOR USE WITH "TR1" AND "TR2" TRACK ONLY. IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS 1) Read all instructions. 2) Do not install this track in damp or wet locations. 3) Do not cut any track sections. 4) Do not install any part of track system less than 5ft. above the floor. 5) Do not install any fixture assembly closer than 6in. from any curtain or similar combustible material. 6) Disconnect electrical power before adding or changing the configuration of the track. 7) Do not attempt to energize anything other than lighting track fixtures on the track. To reduce the risk of fire and electrical shock, do not attempt to connect power tools, extension cords, appliances, and the like to the track. 8) Track system is not intended for the use with power supply cord or convenience receptacle adapter. 9) The Track system is to be supplied by a single 120V branch circuit. 10) If track is pendant mounted, maximum pendant length is not to exceed 48in., maximum distance between pendants is 48in. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: (1) UNPACK TRACK SECTION(S) : (3) INSTALL FEEDS : (Note: Typical end feed configuration shown. See instructions included with individual feeds.) (2) MOUNT TRACK: [1] Slip the screw provided through the pre-drilled holes in the tracks and screw the toggle onto the screw. [2] Slip the toggle through the holes pre-drilled in the ceiling. [3] Tighten the screws until the track is flush to the ceiling. Do not over tighten the screw. [4] For 16 16" T-Bar suspension ceilings order: TBC, for deep tile T-Bar suspension ceilings order: TBD 1-CIRCUIT [1] Run the building supply leads through the crossbar and the nipple. [2] Attach the crossbar to the j-box (by others) with j-box screws (by others). Then screw the nipple into the crossbar. [3] Run the supply leads through the washer and the feed then the hex nut. [4] Insert the feed into the track. [5] Lightly tighten the hex nut onto the nipple. [6] Wire feed unit/s using the schematics below. Then finish tightening the hex nut. [7] Secure the canopy to the feed using screw provided. 1-Circuit Track Single circuit track is rated for 20A MAX SUPPLY. One branch circuit 120V, 20A x 120V x.8 NEC saftey factor=1920w MAX LOAD. A) B) 2-CIRCUIT [A] 2-Circuit Track With Two Feeds Two circuit track is rated for 20A Max. each conductor. One branch circuit 120/240V permits two circuits 2400w each, 20A x 120V=2400W x.8 NEC saftey factor=1920w MAX LOAD. Each conductor or 3840W LOAD TOTAL. [B] 2-Circuit Track With One Feed Two circuit track is rated 20A MAX SUPPLY. One branch circuit 120V, 20A x 120V=2400W x.8 NEC saftey factor=1920w MAX LOAD TOTAL or 960W LOAD each conductor.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: (4) INSTALL CONNECTORS : (Note: These instructions can be used with all standard LSI straight, L, T and X connectors.) [1] Insert the connector into the track. Make sure the polarity arrow on the connector is aligned with the polarity groove on the track. [2] Lock the connector into the track using the integral screw provided. [3] Repeat until the configuration is complete. [4] Insert the dead end cover into open ends of the track configuration and secure with the screw provided. PENDANT INSTALLATION : [1] Install j-boxes (by others) at pendant support locations. *Note: Maximum pendant length is not to exceed 48in., maximum distance between pendants is 48in.* [2] Attach the crossbar to the j-box with the j-box screws (by others). [3] Attach one the square nut to one side of the stem. [4] Feed supply leads through the same end. [5] Slide the square nut onto the crossbar so that the stem hangs. [6] Slide the canopy up the stem until the canopy is flush with the ceiling. Tighten the canopy's locking screw to hold the canopy in place. [7] Attach the track support by sliding the other square nut through the slot in the track support. Then screw the track support onto the stem. [8] Slide the track support into the grooves on the top of the track (as shown below). For pendant feed mounting point distances see below. [9] Screw in the spreader screws until tight, this will lock the track support into place. PENDANT FEED PENDANT SUPPORT
Sample System Installation: Wire feed as shown below. Line up polarity arrows with the grooves and insert feeds and connectors into track sections to assemble components.
