As the second unit, Hitachi and Suitoo have created the New World Standard Crane of 150t class achine. Developed along the concept thees of "siple, refined and reliable", the SCX15002 offers new levels of safety, operability, durability and ease of aintenance. Advanced clutchless ultiple wetdisk brake is well designed, and ensures continuous heavyduty operation. Multiple wetdisk brake Dru Reduction gear unit Hydraulic otor The winch uses a ultiple wetdisk brake, and a forcedoil cooling syste is designed to sustain brake perforance even in continuous heavyduty operations, such as haer grabing. This brake syste is designed to provide reliability while requiring no aintenance. Also, a newly developed echanis is used on this brake design to reduce drag resistance and it realizes a sooth frictionoff between discs while a highviscosity hydraulic oil is used as standard, contributing to longer lift of hydraulic pups and otors. A large LCD graphic dispaly panel of Load Moent Indicator is provided with a reflectionless design on display panel. And, the switches, eters/gauges and controllers are functionally grouped for operator control convenience. 4

In consideration of operator cofort, a new operator s cab uch iproves the visibility thru front and both side windows of the cab with siplified layout of control station with two universal joystick control levers. In addition, a reinforced light greentinted safety glass is adopted in front window to protect operator fro ultraviolet rays and airborne debris. 5
The New World Standard SCX15002 Pays a keen attention to safety, transport and environent too. Safety Autoatic dru pawl locking device. On boo hoist dru, it is designed to autoatically lock and release dru pawl when control lever just returns to neutral position, and just actuates. Newlydesigned Load Moent Indicator. An easytoread LCD graphic display panel is well designed and a reflectionless display panel is provided on a new Load Moent Indicator (LMI) with setting ease of viewing angle. In addition, no zeropoint adjustent, and data input thru interface counterindication/essage on display panel are available for easier and certain setting of operating conditions and LMI functions. Of course, "present lifting load", "rated load", "load ratio", "working radius", "boo angle", "engine rp" and so on are indicated on the LMI dispaly panel. Further, displayed picture and enu selection can be easily set up by panel switch in accordance with operation situation and condition. LMI autoatically sets frontend att. erection ode with letter essage. In the range out of crane working area, the LMI display panel autoatically indicates "Now, out of crane working range" with a rigging instruction, and it is available to lift frontend att. off ground without the influence of M/L safety functions, and, after frontend att. is lifted over the range of crane working area, LMI safety function gets back autoatically for safe erection work. Boo speed slowdown function. This function is available just before autoatic stopping at both upper and lower side liits of boo angle to prevent a shock even though control lever is still at hoisting/lowering position. This function is also available when overloading. Optional lifting height indication function. For ore safe lifting work, especially in blind condition, it is optionally available to indicate the lifting height above ground or depth below ground on display panel of LMI. 6
Fool proof shutoff syste. To insure safety when the operator leaves the cab, a ain hydraulic shutoff switch is located in the cab exit to deactivate and lock the hydraulic syste. Swing/travel alars. These alars alert work crew around the acine when swinging and/or traveling to keep clear for safety. Mobility Transportability Counterweight with horizontallyspit design.
