MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS NOTE: Recommended mounting height is 48" from the floor to the bottom of the dispenser. If using template, recommended mounting height is 48" from floor to bottom of piece of paper. (See Figure 5). 1. Tape mounting template to wall at desired height and ensure that template is level. (See Figure 5) Figure 5 NOTE: Ensure that proper mounting hardware is used for appropriate wall composition, as enclosed hardware may not be compatible with your wall surface. 3. Remove template from wall. Insert wall anchors (if necessary) into four previously drilled holes. Hold dispenser up to wall so holes in wall and dispenser match up. Insert screws and ensure dispenser is level before tightening completely. (See Figure 7) Figure 7 2. Using a 6mm drill bit, drill into wall about 1½" at each marked screw location on template. (See Figure 6) Figure 6 x 3 (min.) BATTERY INSTRUCTIONS 1. While dispenser is open, locate battery compartment on bottom of dispenser. Push tab back and then lift up to open compartment. HI LO HI LO LOAING INSTRUCTIONS NOTE: Paper towel roll should be inserted into the dispenser with the black core insert on the left hand side of the roll. 1. Push right roll holder arm to the right and insert black core into the left holder arm. Release left holder arm slowly to ensure that paper towel core fits properly into right holder arm. (See Figure 10) STUB ROLL FEATURE 1. If Indicator Light is flashing, the main roll is small enough in diameter to be used as a stub roll if desired. To use the low roll as a stub roll, remove the roll from the holder arms and place it on the lower set of holders located just above the battery compartment. (See Figure 13) Figure 10 Tork H1 Figure 13 2. Feed paper down into the roller so the paper is in front of the roller. (See Figure 11) 2. Feed paper up over the roller and down between the roller and the front of the dispenser. Insert new full roll into main set of holder arms. (See Figure 14) Figure 11 Stub Roll Figure 14 3. Locate the button on the right side of dispenser and press down until paper feeds all the way through the roller. If the roller is not catching the paper, ensure the paper is fed down in between the roller and the front of the dispenser. (See Figure 12) 3. Feed paper down into the roller as in Step 2 above. There should now be two sheets of paper down by the roller. Press the Button to feed both sheets down through the roller. ispenser will dispense two sheets until stub roll is depleted. OPERATION AN FEATURES INICATOR LIGHTS The Indicator Light will begin to blink yellow when the roll is thin enough in diameter to be used as a stub roll (if desired). It will continue to blink until the dispenser is loaded with a new roll. (See Figure 16) The Indicator Light will begin to blink red when the battery power is low. Replace the batteries soon if indicator light is blinking. (See Figure 16) Indicator Light Sheet Length Low Battery Tork H1 Button Sheet Length Adjustment Knob MANUAL FEE Use the Button to check for proper battery installation as well as to feed the tail of the paper into the roller. (See Figure 16) SHEET LENGTH Sheet length can be adjusted from a minimum of 8" to a maximum of 24". Turn Sheet Length Adjustment Knob clockwise for a longer sheet and counterclockwise for a shorter sheet. When switch is set to off, a new sheet will be dispensed automatically once a sheet is taken. (See Figure 17) On Off Figure 17 MAINTENANCE The automatic dispenser should be cleaned any time there is heavy paper dust buildup inside the dispenser. If paper dust is not a problem, approximately every year is a good frequency for cleanings. The following is recommended procedure for cleaning: 1. Open the dispenser and remove the roll of paper. 2. Clean paper dust from the inside of the dispenser. This can be done in several ways, such as vacuuming, blowing out with a can of compressed air (wear safety glasses), wiping out with a damp cloth, etc. 3. Clean the cover with a gentle cloth and water. If necessary, use an all-purpose cleaner that is safe for plastics. NOTE: It is not recommended that paper be used to clean the surface of the dispenser. Paper may scratch the high gloss surface. PAGE 4 OF 5
