SERIES H-200 HOT MELT GUNS Durable, high-speed automatic hot melt guns provide extensive pattern flexibility.
Innovative gun designs allow more flexibility and control of bead size, shape and placement. Series H-200 Standard guns. Standard gun designs include more than 20 configurations to meet the needs of most applications. For dependable performance, the balland-seat valve design provides clean cut-off for most hot melts and viscosities, including aggressive and filled materials. An extensive selection of nozzle lengths and orifice diameters allows you to precisely meet your pattern requirements. Nozzles are available in single and multi-orifice, right-angle and extended styles. H-200 Integral Filtered guns feature a built-in filter to remove char and contaminants that can inhibit adhesive flow and plug nozzles. Large filter size improves filtration and provides longer service life over cartridge-type filters. Easily replaced, interchangeable extrusion modules help minimize downtime. Series H-200 Reduced Cavity guns. Reduced Cavity guns resist clogging with an integrated needle-and-nozzle assembly that produces a self-cleaning action and sharp cut-off. The needle-and-seat design minimizes rejects by providing positive shut-off and consistent adhesive flow. Precision manufactured, the reduced cavity design offers consistent nozzle-tip temperatures to ensure extrusion control and pattern uniformity. Series H-200 Zero Cavity guns. Zero Cavity guns resist clogging. For critical applications requiring highly accurate depositions and flow control, Zero Cavity guns feature a patented micro-adjustment to balance adhesive output. The gun s extended nozzle allows precise bead placement in hard-to-access corner seams and channels. Also, the close-tolerance matched needle-and-nozzle assembly eliminates minute material pockets at the tip, reducing nozzle clogging, drool and stringing in PSA, PUR, and polyamide materials. Zero Cavity guns are available in a wide range of multi-module configurations to meet the most demanding production requirements. Series H-200 Reduced Cavity guns deliver clean cut-off and pattern repeatability. For case sealers and cartoners with short compression sections, compact H-200 Low- Profile guns provide precise pattern placement.
A simple nozzle plate change converts the Mini-Bead from vertical to horizontal format for application flexibility. Series H-200 Mini-Bead Gun Nordson Series H-200 Mini-Bead Guns are specially engineered for high-speed packaging and product assembly multiline applications requiring uniform beads and clean cut-off. The Mini-Bead Gun provides an excellent non-contact alternative for sift-proof and web applications. Series H-200 Top Feed Gun The Series H-200 Top Feed Gun features compact size and wide range of mounting options. It uses Nordson precision nozzles and is available with H-200 modules (RC, ZC and Integrated Right Angle versions included). The compact Series H-200 Top Feed Gun delivers a wide range of mounting options. Gun accessories provide added efficiency. Nordson offers the essential accessories that help ensure a smooth installation and optimize performance of your hot melt system. Solenoid valves - Nordson threeway solenoid valves meet stringent manufacturing standards to ensure consistent gun operation, long service life and minimal downtime. The hightemperature valves withstand up to 225ºF (107ºC). Piloted valves permit high-flow air capabilities with lowwattage coils and are ideal for large multi-module and independent air configurations. Direct-operated valves include high-wattage coils and provide medium-speed performance and long service life. Nozzles - A comprehensive selection of nozzles provides numerous combinations of orifice diameters and nozzle lengths. Choices include straight single-orifice, multi-orifice and right-angle nozzles. Right-angle nozzles can be rotated 360 degrees to change the direction of firing. Inline filters - Both non-heated and heated inline filters connect between the hose and gun to remove contaminants that might cause nozzle clogging. Easily accessible, the removable filter screens come in different mesh sizes to maximize filtration. Non-heated filters are available in straight, 45-degree and 90-degree versions. 6 7 5 4 1.
