An introduction to TecSA Company TecSA has 15 years experience in the brake-testing sector. We have supplied our automation for complete laboratories of leading manufacturers of friction material, disks and calipers. Over the years we have followed, together with our Customers, the evolution of braking systems research and development methodologies. Our main activities deal with dynamometers. For these we have brought to a fine art an automated system with very flexible software and with a high production level. Many of our Customers use the dynamometers for an average of 20 hours a day, including weekends. Our services on dynamometers are of three types: supply of only the electronic interface and software on machines in a good mechanical and electrical condition; overhauls with: mechanical variations if required, to remove defects or increase performances; completion and/or renewal of systems on board machines and control cabins; supply of electronics and software; complete new manufacture of dynamometers. At the moment we have in construction: a dynamometer for the automotive racing sector with these characteristics: maximum speed 3200 rpm, inertia within a range of 10 to 150 kgm 2, maximum braking moments of 5kNm, complete with the options: static friction, hand brake, HILL HOLD and CREEP GROAN; a dynamometer for trucks with these characteristics: maximum speed 1500 rpm, inertia range from 150 to 2500kgm 2 and maximum braking moments of 40 knm; a friction test machine for quality control, with completely automatic management of tests and direct production of test reports; a test machine for detachment of friction material. Our software complies with all the tests that are carried out in Europe and, if you are interested, we can send you the documentation in our booklet: Braking dynamometer technical description that illustrates the automation system, the tests that can be run and the processing of the results. Our activities cover the complete area of research and development laboratories. In fact, besides dynamometers we have provided: quality control benches; test benches for friction material detachment; friction material compressibility and heat conduction test benches; data acquisition systems on board the vehicles. 1/6 TecSA S.r.l. - Via Torino, 43-10067 Vigone (TO) Italy Tel. +39 011 980 40 01 - Fax +39 011 980 40 06 VAT IT06805060016 - Cap.
