Premium Dutch brand BERG is presenting the latest and smallest member of its family at the Nuremberg International Toy Fair: the new BERG GO² is suitable for children aged between 10 and 30 months and is both a ride-on and a pedal car. Two-for-one, in other words! For very young children, the pedals are kept folded away, so that the child can use the go-kart like a ride-on. Once the child is ready for the next step, the pedals simply fold out. Because of the direct transmission, learning to pedal is effortless and the child can zoom off straight away! Furthermore, this system guarantees that young drivers keep control of the vehicle. So as well as being tremendous fun, the BERG GO² also supports the cognitive and physical development of children aged 10 months and over. The go-kart is available from summer 2018 in three colours: mint green, pink and blue, for 89 euros. Different to other children s vehicles The BERG GO² stands apart from other children s vehicles not just for its unique pedal system: this new vehicle makes it very easy for children to pedal away, as the go-kart is fitted with a direct drive and the ball bearings on the rear axle and the bottom bracket allow smooth, effortless driving. The ergonomic design makes sure that the child s feet cannot get caught on the pedals or rear wheels. The four wheels make the vehicle both stable and safe. The special relief structure on the saddle works to prevent the child from slipping off and the whisper tyres protect Mum and Dad s ears. Push bar, flag and shoulder strap: practical accessories The BERG GO² can be complemented with the appropriate accessories: parents can use the special push bar to simply push their little ones along on the BERG GO². The shoulder strap is particularly handy: if their child has grown too tired to carry on riding the BERG GO², parents can simply carry the go-kart over their shoulder with the strap, which stows away neatly beneath the saddle when not needed. BERG s unique Airflow jumping mat makes for more comfortable jumping: the mat has 50% greater airflow than conventional jumping mats, so there is less resistance. The result: particularly effortless jumping and higher jumps. In combination with the TwinSpring Gold springs, which are also used in both series, this creates a feeling of weightlessness. Greater airflow for more comfortable jumping The BERG airflow jumping mat was used for the first time last year, in the BERG FlatGround Champion. Experiences with the Premium model for seamless in-ground installation were so positive that now all new Champion, EazyFit, Grand-Champion and Elite trampolines are supplied with the jumping mat innovation. The airflow principle is as simple as it is ingenious: the new material is more permeable to air than conventional jumping mats, reducing jumping resistance. It gives the user the feeling of jumping weightlessly. Jump for longer thanks to soft springs This effect is further enhanced by the TwinSpring Gold springs: a conventional trampoline has straight springs, whereas the TwinSpring Gold system uses double springs arranged diagonally in a V-shape. Because of this, particularly high-quality, long springs can be used, without taking up too much space. This allows for a particularly large jumping area, which offers optimum bounce even around the edge. BERG GO² BERG to showcase its trampolines and go-karts at the Nuremberg International Toy Fair Nuremberg, January 2018. Dutch company BERG will present its current range of garden trampolines and go-karts at the Nuremberg International Toy Fair between 28 January and 4 February. New products include the BERG GO², a go-kart that doubles as a ride-on for tiny tots, and the Champion and Elite trampolines fitted with Airflow jumping mats as of now. Fair visitors will also be able to personally check out the BERG Basic Red series go-karts launched for the Christmas season and the trailers for the BERG Buzzy models at the company s 187 m2 booth A07 in hall 7. From a barn to the entire world Over 30 years ago, Henk van den Berg built his first go-kart in his parents barn. What began as a hobby with lots of sawing, welding and painting has today turned into an international enterprise. BERG products are sold worldwide in more than 65 countries.
