Product Catalogue ETA C and D General The well-known ETA-pump on the bearing bracket C and D is constructed in accordance with DIN 24 255 standard and completes the performance range up to max. 100 m3/hr (6600 Imp.g.p.m., 7900 USgpm). The graduation of pump sizes enables you to select a model of high efficiency and low absorbed horsepower under any set of operating conditions. Field of Application General water supplies for municipalities, industry and agriculture; water works, pressure boosting and irrigation plants; circulation of hot water, cooling water and oil; as condensate, building sites, and loading pumps etc. Design Horizontal single and two stage centrifugal pump with volute casing flanged onto the bearing bracket. Sizes 100-50/2 and 5-50/2 are two-stage. Overhung ral flow impeller equipped with balance holes for hydraulic balancing. Renewable casing wear rings and shaft protecting sleeves. Shaft Seal Uncooled soft-packed stuffing box up to 110 C (0 F) or cooled soft-packed stuffing box up to C (25 F). Other constructions are available which cater for special requirements. Uncooled mechanical seals up to C (25 F) max. may also be fitted. Nozzle Orientations Suction nozzle axial, discharge nozzle rally pointing upward; on sizes 200-, -29 and -35 tangentially left pointing upward. Other nozzle positions possible upon request. Flanges machined according to DIN 2533, NP 16, from size 200 upward according to DIN 2532, NP 10. Drive Direct drive by an electric motor, an internal combustion engine or a turbine via a flexible coupling. Bearings Axial and ral location by two oil lubricated deep groove ball bearings in the bearing pedestal. Grease lubrication on request. 39 39

Lubrication: The pump shaft runs in two oil-lubricated ball-bearings. The bearings and the bearing bracket should be flushed with petrol or benzene while slowly rotating the shaft. After cleaning and complete removal of the cleaning agent, the bearing bracket should be filled with oil, Maximum and minimum oil level are indicated by marks on the dipstick.
