USE OF THE 5 KEYS PROVIDES SPACE for the vehicle VISIBILITY for the driver TIME to make decisions

Backing Try to avoid backing, however if you must back up ALWAYS use a ground guide

Safe Driving Tips An Armored Truck isn t the Family Vehicle A fully loaded Armored truck traveling at 60 MPH on dry pavement may take up to the length of a football field to stop. Snow and rain add additional length.

Tires Versus Shoes The tires on an Armored truck have the contact equivalent to a shoe print of a large size man s shoe. Each tire has a footprint of 7.5 x 9 on the ground.

Prevent Friction Rollovers When the speed of a truck increases and the direction of the front tires are changed, the truck has a desire to rotate around the tire in a circular motion. If the speed is great enough and the turn is sharp enough, a Friction Rollover will occur.

GardaWorld s safety culture is a mindset that needs to be practiced every day. GardaWorld Cash Services Slide 26 May 2014 2014 GardaWorld Confidential & Proprietary

Post Crash In the event of a crash Notify base immediately regardless of severity Complete Crash Report while exchanging info with other parties Take multiple pictures of damage, vehicle license plates, etc

Crash Review In Heavy Rain and high wind conditions our truck Driver was travelling approximately 55 mph when the truck hit a stretch of water causing the truck to hydroplane. Driver lost control of the truck, which turned to the right hydroplaning on the right side of the freeway and then flipped over on it's right side.

Fatigued Drivers 100,000 crashes each year are caused by fatigued drivers Like alcohol, sleepiness slows reaction time, decreases awareness, impairs judgment and increases your risk of crashing.
