Double pull-through and gauze. 4 gauzes. Cylinder cleaning rod. Cylinder cleaning wire brush. Cylinder cleaning mop. Combination tool. Oil container. Flannelette Spare parts wallet:- This will always be carried with the gun. The wallet contains oil can, combination tool, double pull-through and gauze, clearing plug, flannelette and spare parts tin. No barrel bag / holdall at this time. Double pullthrongh and gauze. Spare gauzes. Cylinder cleaning rod. Cylinder cleaning wire brush. Cylinder cleaning mop. Combination tool (By now would be MK2). Oil container. Flannelette. Graphited grease. Oil, low, cold, test. Wallet Oil can, combination tool, single pullthrough and gauze, tin box containing spare gauzes, clearing plug and small spares. The wallet will always be with the gun. Holdall Inside:- Spare barrel, cylinder cleaning rod. Outside:- Top left - Spare breech block (if issued). Top centre - Mop and wire brush. Double pullthrough. Top right - Bottle of graphited grease. Centre - Wallet complete. Bottom - Tin of oil, low, cold, test. PAMPHLET No. 6 The Light Machine Gun (All Arms) 1948 (this Pamphlet supersedes Small Arms Training, Volume I, Pamphlet No. 4, 1942) Reprinted with Amendments (Nos. 1 to 3 ) 1953 W.O. If the hold-all is not carried with the section then, according to the climate, the following changes must be made (a) In tropical or dusty climates the oil bottle containing the graphited grease must be taken from the hold-all and placed in the spare parts tin. (b) In climates of extreme cold the oil can containing oil, low, cold test, must be carried in the wallet instead of oil A, which will be carried in the hold-all. In addition the following SLR spare parts may also be carried in the spare parts tin:, extractor spring and extractor plunger If the holdall is not being carried with the gun: (1) In hot, dusty climatic conditions the tube of graphited grease should be transferred to the spare parts tin (2) In hot climates the two oil cans change places.
