Auto Lease Activity in Q3 2017 The third quarter of 2017 saw a continuation of stable, healthy leasing levels, with dealers around the country utilizing incentives as a way to continue their push toward leasing for consumers. As the report shows, year-over-year search traffic for leases on Swapalease.com is up significantly for many brands, and search traffic compared to last quarter was also up for select brands such as Ram, GMC, Mercedes-Benz, and Toyota. It is expected that leasing will have a strong fourth quarter to close out the year, especially as dealers remain focused on incentives to push leasing during end-of-year sales.
