DV SERIES COMPACTION DV207 I DV210 I DV213 A new standard for better built roads The Case DV Series large asphalt compactors establish a new industry standard for performance, productivity and reliability. The exclusive Case Dual Drum Drive standard on all large Case DV asphalt models includes direct-drive independent pumps for each drum, delivering 100-percent traction effi ciency and eliminating slippage on the compacted surface. A versatile line-up for production asphalt applications Case DV Series compactors deliver dual amplitudes, dual frequencies and centrifugal forces to meet the needs of any application, from coarse bases to hot-mix asphalt (HMA) surfaces. Independent control of drum vibration (front, rear or both drums), provides the best possible compaction productivity and performance. Smooth control for consistent results Productive, effi cient paving requires a compactor that creates a smooth surface the fi rst time, every time. Case DV Series large compactors provide automatic vibration control (tapered start and stop), ensuring a smooth, consistent surface by preventing directional change and stopping damage. The Case vibratory system automatically starts when the drive lever is moved from neutral and stops when the lever is repositioned back into neutral. Taking care of the operator Case designed the rear-mounted power train on the DV Series compactors to achieve lower noise, vibration and heat for the operator. The result is the industry s best work platform for all-day operations. Operators will also appreciate the ergonomic, commonsense, layout of the operator s station, superior visibility to the drum and water nozzels. Easy, efficient maintenance The DV Series asphalt compactors continue the Case tradition for easy maintenance and serviceability. The compactors offer a onepiece vertical-lift hood for easy, ground-level, obstruction-free access to daily maintenance checkpoints. Compare the Case machines to competitive models that require removal of the water tank to service the engine. All drive components are easily accessible on the large Case DV Series asphalt models, minimizing maintenance time and maximizing productivity. DV207
DV210 DV213
DV SERIES COMPACTION DV207 I DV210 I DV213 Optional asphalt cutter wheel An asphalt cutter wheel makes asphalt cutting easier and more economical. The replaceable cutting wheel is made with heat treated, abrasive resistant alloy steel. Multi-position operator station The rotating operator s station and swivel seat provides 180 degrees of operator positioning for full view of the compacted surface and drums. Dual Volcolon scrapers Each drum is equipped with dual, adjustable, Volcolon drum scrapers for maintaining the drum surface and ensuring consistent compaction results. Superior cab comfort Case DV cabs are ISO-mounted for maximum operator comfort. An optional cab with air conditioning and heat is available on all models. Instrumentation Operator productivity is maximized by conveniently located and grouped switches and gauges. The multifunction display monitor allows the operator to easily access key operating information.
Dual spray bar (Front and Rear) The DV Series compactors feature a high capacity, corrosion proof, triple fi ltration water system with easily serviceable spray nozzles. Standard equipment includes primary and back-up water pumps to ensure uninterrupted production. Isolation-mount operator s platform The operator can stay focused on the job, thanks to the vibrationdampening isolation-mount work platform. Superior centrifugal force values The centrifugal force generated by the DV Series dual vibrating drums results in a consistent, smooth pavement surface. Heavy duty articulation joint DV Series machines are built to last, with durability features like the heavy duty articulation joint. Jobsite illumination Standard front and rear halogen lights powerfully illuminate the job site night or day for continued high productivity. Dual fill port water tank High capacity, corrosion proof water tanks feature dual fi ll ports with integrated fi ltration for quick, easy and safe water servicing. The polyethelyne water tanks are protected by the frame of the machine and feature an easily accessible drain port.
DV SERIES COMPACTION DV207 I DV210 I DV213 Productivity for your big paving jobs The large Case DV Series asphalt compactors are big enough and tough enough for the largest road-paving projects. With drums up to 82.7 in. (2100 mm) wide and 53.1 in. (1350 mm) in diameter, the DV Series machines deliver the productivity you need. The combination of fuel-effi cient Cummins diesel engines and 55-gallon fuel tanks keep your DV Series compactor on the job for up to 20 hours between fuel refi lls. Standard halogen front and rear lights illuminate your job site, keeping your crews productive at any time of the night or day. Hydrostatic drive is standard for both vibrating drums. The articulated frame results in a tight turning radius for working in confi ned areas. An optional edge cutter provides an important productivity benefi t. Comfortable operating environment boosts productivity We know a comfortable operator is more productive. That s why the DV Series operator s platform provides best-in-class comfort and visibility. For all-weather operation, Case offers an optional heated and air-conditioned cab. A pivoting and rotating seat gives the operator a full view to either side of the compactor and to interior gauging. The dual multi-function directional lever controls on either side of the seat enable operation from any seated position left or right without excessive operator stress or strain. A tilting steering column enhances operator comfort and control. A lockable dash board cover minimizes the threat of vandalism. A standard fi xed ROPS work platform with rails provides excellent operator protection. Easy to service In addition to grouped, ground-level access to common maintenance checkpoints, the DV Series compactors also feature spin-on fuel, engine oil and hydraulic fi lters for quick fi lter replacement and installation. The machines also offer a standard vertical-lift hood for trouble-free access to the engine compartment. Vertical-lift hood provides ease of service at ground level A vertical-lift hood makes it easy to access the engine, drive train and other key components and systems.
