II Important Notes: The electric Cargo Truck should only be used after you carefully read the Manual. Do not lend the Cargo Truck to any person who has not read the manual and doesn t have knowledge of how to operate the vehicle. III. Points for Attention 1. Please abide by traffic rules consciously and drive in the slow lane. 2. While turning, the riding speed must be slowed down. 3. The tire shall be properly inflated. If the pressure is too low, the riding resistance may increase, and the travelling speed would slow down; if the pressure is too high, the ride will be bumpy and may result in flat tires. 4. To avoid accidents, do not hang anything on the handle bars while the vehicle is running. 5. The electric Cargo Truck with integrated wheels has a maximum load capacity of 500 lbs. Overload will result in damage to the electrical components. 6. Do not oil or grease brake parts, to avoid braking failure. 7. Do not drive down a slope too fast. Never use the front wheel brake separately and suddenly to avoid shifting weight forward and causing a potential accident. 8. Disassembling the vehicle body by anyone other than electrical/mechanical technician may result in potential safety hazards. 9. To avoid an accident, make sure to check that parts such as the handle bar, saddles, axles, and wheels are secured and reliable before riding. 10. Do not drive on uneven, muddy, gravel roads to prevent flat tires, deformed hub and poor contact of electrical parts. 11. When you get off and push the tricycle forward, switch off the power switch to avoid unintentional rotation of governor handle while pushing, which may cause accidentally starting of vehicle, leading to an unpredictable accident. Warning: This product is only suitable for adults and should be operated with caution. Note: When riding in rain, snow and fog, you should increase the braking distance.

V. Riding Ways and Operation Methods To experience the performance of the electric Cargo Truck while ensuring safety during travelling, it is recommended to have a trial ride in a flat open space prior to operating the vehicle on busy roads and streets. To operate follow the below instructions: (1) Energize the power: turn the power switch to ON. (2) Start driving: rotate the speed-regulating handle slowly inward (clockwise) at a constant speed with the right hand to start driving. (3) Speed control: during riding, rotate the speed-regulating handle with the right hand to adjust the speed. (4) Brake: no matter braking with left/right hand or foot, the controller will disengage the motor. 8

1. Proper use of spare parts 1). Main key: (see Fig. below) VI. Proper use and maintenance There are two sets of keys with the Cargo Truck. Please keep one as a spare key. Power switch lockup: At OFF position, all the circuits are open. At ON position, all circuits are connected, and it is ready to start motor at any time. At the LAMP position, the headlight will be turned on. Caution: Check if the power plug of the battery box is contacted correctly in place before use. 2). Instrument (see Fig. below) Battery indicator: indicating the current voltage of battery. Right Hand-side Left Hand-side Speed indicator Battery indicator 3). Charger socket (see Fig. below) 10

For charging, just insert the charger plug into the charging socket of the battery as shown in Fig. A and Fig. B. Fig. A socket is commonly used as power socket and charger socket. You can charge electricity simply by unplugging the power plug and then plugging in the charger plug. 2. Proper Use and Maintenance of Whole Vehicle 1) Insert the key in the electric lock, turn clockwise to open the lock, at this time, the battery pointer on the instrument turns to H direction. 2) During riding, rotate the twist throttle handle backwards slowly with the right hand after starting to accelerate gradually for motor-driven riding; release the handle to reduce the travelling speed until the motor is shut down. 3) This Cargo Truck has brake power failure protection function, so users can shut off the motor power during riding either by operating the left or right brake lever or using foot brake. 4) Set the twist throttle handle to zero position while braking, which can prevent damage to electrical parts. 5) When riding at night, please turn the electric lock switch to LAMP, and turn on the headlight and night light. 11

3. Proper Use and Maintenance of Motor and Controller 1) When riding against wind or upslope, please use assisted riding properly to avoid motor and battery overloading. 2) It is not recommended to use the electric Cargo Truck in the rain. If riding occurs, try to prevent water from getting near the center line of the rear wheel, to avoid shorts. WARNING: Do not turn the twist throttle handle abruptly to ensure safe travelling and to protect the motor and battery. 4. Proper Use and Maintenance of Battery The lead-acid battery used in the electric Cargo Truck has a service life greatly related with the end user s daily use and maintenance. 1) The electric Cargo Truck uses sealed, lead-acid, no maintenance, recyclable batteries. DO NOT dismantle the sealed battery box, to add distilled water or electrolyte. 2) Always store the Cargo Truck and batteries in a cool, dry place. 3) Ensure batteries are fully charged before unplugging from charger. 4) Lead-acid battery capacity is subject to temperature. If the ambient temperature is below 65F continuously, this will reduce range. 5) Lead-acid battery is perishable. When used over time, the battery capacity will drop, and the continuous range distance mileage will be shorter as well. 6) Battery shall not come in touch with flame, heat source and alkaline substances, or be exposed to sunlight. 7) Only the special charger provided at the time of purchase with the Cargo Truck should be used to charge the battery. 8) Charging immediately after travelling is not recommended in hot weather because the battery is still hot. Allow 10 minutes for the battery to cool before plugging it in to charge. In cold weather it is recommended to charge the vehicle indoors. 9) Battery shall be charged soon after use, charging while using is recommended in principle; if battery is to be left unused for a long period of time, it should be stored after fully charging, and charge once a month to maintain potential. 12

NOTICE: During riding, please charge immediately if the battery pointer points at L. Every time after riding, either long or short distance, charging the battery can keep its full capacity, which helps prevent electrode polarization and prolongs the service life. WARNING: To avoid personal injury or battery damage, do not use hand or conductor to release the two electrodes of the battery box. 5. Proper Use and Maintenance of Charger 1) For charging, plug in the battery charging plug first and then AC 110V60HZ power plug. At this time, the indicator on the charger panel will be red, it suggests the charger is charging the battery; when the charger indicator turns green, it suggests the charger is under floating charge, and charging 1 to 2 more hours is needed. After completion of charging, plug off the AC power plug, and then the charger plug. 2) Charging shall be conducted in dry and vented place. Do not cover the charger; make sure your hands are dry when plugging in or out the power plug. 3) The charging field shall be far away from children and hazardous materials, inflammables and explosives. 4) If the charger is not used, cut off the AC power to prevent the long-time service of charger, which might impact its service life. 5) Close the electric lock while charging, to prevent damage to charger caused due to large current in case of sudden starting of the electric Cargo Truck. 6) Charging for 6-8 hours is recommended. NOTICE: The battery of the electric Cargo Truck must be charged by the smart charger enclosed with the vehicle. 13

CAUTION: Plug in the battery box plug first and then power on the AC power before charging; after charging, plug off the AC power plug and then the charger plug. Prevent striking a light between the charger plug and the battery box charging outlet, otherwise, the charging plug might be burnt out. 6.
