COMMUNICATIONS & OUTREACH NOACA in the News NOACA receives more than $300,000 in grants for active transportation like bicycling, walking Plain Dealer, July 24; Morning Journal and News Herald on July 25 The money, granted by ODOT, was split about 50/50 - half for collecting data on how many people are biking and walking and how frequently, and the other half for materials to create temporary pathways (like bicycle lanes) in order to test how they'd work in particular areas.

ANNOUNCEMENTS Follow-Up from Prior Board Meeting Cuyahoga County Executive Budish asks: What would the repercussion be if the NOACA Board does not approve Resolution 2017-016? Interagency agreement must be signed with ODOT in order to receive CPG funding for NOACA budget.

ANNOUNCEMENTS Follow-Up from Prior Board Meeting Geauga County Commissioner Claypool asks: Does the Board need to approve the FPA Boundary changes or can it be delegated to the Planning & Programming Committee? Under the current Clean Water Plan, it must be approved by the Board. An amendment would need to be submitted to the Governor and EPA for approval to change the policy.
