CentriFlow 3D - Technical Catalogue GMEC 3 General Description and survey chart pplication The CentriFlow 3D GMEC plug fan range is a complete fan assembly to be used in ir Handling units. The GMEC fan is available in 8 sizes and covers airflow up to 5.2 m 3 /s (19.000 m 3 /h) and pressure rises up to 1400 Pa. The fan is equipped with high efficiency EC-motors with integrated control electronics. Motor speed can be controlled by using either 0-10 V input or the MODBUS-RTU interface for communication. Fan is ready to be used - plug and play- and needs only power and control cable. 4 GMEC CentriFlow 3D - Technical Catalogue General and Design Description Quality and environment ll components are designed and manufactured in accordance with applicable standards including the quality assurance system ISO 9001, the environmental management system ISO 14001 and the Energy Directive 2009/125/EC and all Directives related to CE-marking. GMEC fans are certified by TÜV to class B0. Manufacturing tolerance is according to DIN 24166 class LK1. vailable versions CentriFlow 3D GMEC fan is available in following versions: Horizontal mounting inside the HU Vertical mounting inside the HU (rotor on bottom) DESIGN DESCRIPTION Fan impeller The impeller is made of aluminium. The hollow section airfoil blades are made of extruded aluminium profile and are welded to impeller front and back plate. The leading edge of blades is inclined and the blades are backward curved. Number of blades is six (6). Motor bracket and base frame Horizontal wall-mounted The support bracket is made of steel and painted black (RL 9005). Sizes 045-056 have a reinforced construction. The front plate is made of galvanized sheet steel. Vertically mounted

CentriFlow 3D - Technical Catalogue GMEC 5 Design Description, SpecificationS Fan inlet Motor Centriflow 3D GMEC fans are supplied with high efficiency (IE4) permanent magnet external rotor EC-motors. The high efficiency is based on permanent magnets which eliminate rotor losses and therefore less magnetizing current is needed. Motors are equipped with integrated control electronics and speed can be controlled by using either 0-10 V control signal or the MODBUS-RTU interface for communication. The impeller is fastened directly to the motor. The design of the fan inlet is designed to optimize the flow into the impeller. The inlet is in one piece and made of galvanized sheet steel. ir flow sensor The inlet is equipped with an air flow sensor as standard. The new CentriFlow 3D fan is performing well inside the ir Handling Unit. Even in this case some corrections to catalogue may be needed. Estimated corrections are available in the software.
