Quality We Take it Seriously The process of designing and building a great machine begins with dedicated engineers and reliable components, and ends with consistent assembly procedures and inspection techniques. We use Milltronics machines in our shop for manufacturing as well as testing of innovative ideas. Critical surfaces where rails and bearing blocks are mounted are precision ground for flatness to ensure machine integrity. We have invested in precision inspection equipment and training to utilize it proactively to insure manufactured products meet our specifications. Every purchased part is carefully selected and all parts are thoroughly inspected. Every machine built in our facility is tested for over 20 hours. Each builder oversees their machine thru the quality control process. When a machine reaches the quality control stage, it is checked from top to bottom. Using laser ball screw compensation and ball bar testing, every machine is inspected for circularity, three axes squareness, and positioning accuracy. All of the machine s parameters are verified and archived to our network. This enables us to provide a back-up file to restore the customer s parameters in the event they are lost. The Milltronics 8200-B CNC Control Advanced processing for high speed machining. Powerful conversational programming. The 8200-B has all of the user-friendly features Milltronics CNC controls are known for and more: compatibility with G & M Code programs plus macro programming, auto routines, trig help, and all the benefits of conversational programming. The 8200-B CNC has conversational visual aid programming help screens. This is helpful for new programmers to determine what is being prompted for in the fields within a conversational event. The new Mill Away function has been added for mid-program offset adjustment; especially helpful for 3D contouring operations in mold making. The 8200-B CNC has a state-of-the-art user interface with wire frame and solid model graphic modes standard. By selecting the Fast Verify feature, the operator can run the program at 100 times speed. Both graphic modes look ahead of actual machine position when executing so the operator can see where the tool is going before it gets there. File management convenience is enhanced with USB and Ethernet networking capabilities. Establishing communication of shop floor production data is easier since this control is compatible with MT Connect (communication standard sponsored by The Association for Manufacturing Technology). Examples of production data may include operating state, job numbers, part count, feeds, speeds and times, axis and spindle loads, tool life and much more. With selectable G187, G188, and G189 cutting modes, the programmer can select between different motion control parameters to optimize tool path and feedrates of the axes in motion and reduce the overall cycle time. VM25 INLINE SPINDLES Milltronics offers a range of CNC Machines with inline spindles for improved performance at higher RPM s by eliminating pulleys and belts. These inline spindles are designed with a direct coupling from the spindle to the motor. This design features reduced inertia, reduced vibration and reduced generation of heat in the head. Resulting benefits include improved spindle acceleration time, improved part tolerances and finishes. Our inline spindles also feature the BIG-PLUS Spindle System.
