Test minutes 1.1 Test facilities : The test facilities are in compliance with the requirements of the regulation. 1.1.1 Temperature : 24 C 1.2 Test results : The type has been examined according to the amendments mentioned in appendix 0. An actual test of the type was not required. The results of the previous tests are still valid. 1.2.1 Markings : The trade mark is marked clearly legible and indelible on the housing of the lamp. Space for the approval mark and for additional symbols is provided on the housing of the lamp. TÜV Rheinland Kraftfahrt GmbH Technologiezentrum Verkehrssicherheit Page 2 of 11
1.2.2 General specifications : The lamps are designed and made that under normal use their satisfactory operation is ensured and they retain the required characteristics. The filament lamp holder conforms to the characteristics stated on data sheet of the IEC publication 60061. The headlamp is fitted with a device enabling the correct adjustment on the lamps as to comply with the requirements applicable to them. The colour of the light emitted is within the limits of the coordinates prescribed in paragraph 7.1 of the Regulation. 1.2.3 Photometric tests : The headlamps have been adjusted according to paragraph 6.2.2. of the Regulation for the passing beam and 6.3.1. of the Regulation for the driving beam. a) Passing beam : The passing beam produces a sharp "cut-off" line which is a horizontal straight line on the side opposite to the direction of the traffic for which the headlamp is intended; it does not extend beyond either the broken line HV H1 H4 formed by a straight line HV H1 making a 45 degrees angle with the horizontal and the straight line H1 H4, 25 cm above the straight line hh, or the straight line HV H3, inclined at an angle of 15 above the horizontal. The passing beam produces an adequate illumination without dazzle. No lateral variations detrimental to good visibility in any of the zones I, II, III and IV have been observed. Illumination measured on the screen (refer to Annex 3 of the Regulation) was obtained by means of a standard filament lamp of the category specified by the manufacturer, adjusted to produce the reference luminous flux for that category.
