99-0 DSH DISSSEMLY UIK LROSSE 005-009 Disconnect the negative battery terminal to prevent an accidental short circuit. Unclip and remove trim panel below a/c control. (Figure ) Remove () 9/ screws securing climate controls to the sub dash. Unplug and remove climate controls. (Figure ) Unclip trim panel above the radio. Unplug and remove the panel. (Figure ) 5 Remove () 9/ screws securing radio. Unplug and remove radio. (Figure D) ontinue to final assembly. D
99-0 KIT SSEMLY DIN MOUNT RDIO PROVISION WITH POKET Slide the DIN cage into the radio housing and secure by bending the metal locking tabs outward. (Figure ) Slide the aftermarket radio into the DIN cage and until it snaps into place. (Figure ) Snap the pocket into the radio housing. (Figure ) ontinue to final assembly.
99-0 KIT SSEMLY ISO MOUNT RDIO PROVISION WITH POKET Mount the ISO rackets to the radio using the screws supplied with the radio. (Figure ) Slide the radio into the radio housing until it snaps into place. (Figure ) Snap the trim plate onto the front of the Radio Housing. (Figure ) Snap the Pocket into the radio housing. (Figure ) ontinue to final assembly.
99-0 KIT SSEMLY DOULE DIN RDIO PROVISION ut and remove the center bar from the radio housing. (Figure ) Snap the Double DIN brackets to the inside edge of the radio housing. (Figure ) Slide the Double DIN radio into the DDIN bracket/radio housing assembly and secure the radio to the assembly using the screws supplied with the radio. (Figure ) Snap the Double DIN trim plate onto the front of the radio housing. (Figure ) ontinue to final assembly.
99-0 KIT SSEMLY STKED ISO MOUNT UNITS PROVISION ut and remove the center bar from the radio housing. (Figure ) Snap the Double DIN brackets to the inside edge of the radio housing. (Figure ) Slide the stacked ISO mount units into the bracket/trim plate assembly and secure the units to the assembly using the screws supplied with the units. (Figure ) Snap the Double DIN trim plate onto the front of the radio/housing. (Figure ) ontinue to final assembly. 5

Metra recommends using the proper mating adapter and making connections as shown. (Isolate and individually tape off the ends of any unused wires to prevent electrical short circuit.) Re-connect the negative battery terminal and test the unit for proper operation. Reassemble radio and dash assemblies in reverse order of disassembly. FINL WIRING ONNETIONS Make wiring connections using the EI color code chart shown below and the instructions included with the head unit. Metra recommends making connections as shown below; Strip, Splice, Solder, Tape. Isolate and individually tape off ends of any unused wires to prevent electrical short circuit.
