POWERSHOP MARKET OFFER The following Energy Price Fact Sheet sets out all applicable rates for Ausgrid Residential tariffs. Please read the summary of each to help determine which apply to you. Distribution area: Ausgrid Offer for: Residential What s the Guaranteed Discount? Your Guaranteed Discount rates include an 4% discount off your Base Rates. CONDITIONAL DISCOUNTS Online Saver You can receive a further 4% off your Guaranteed Discount rates (a total of 8% off your Base Rates off your whole bill) by logging in once a month when prompted by the Account Review coming email and pay any amount owing with the Online Saver pack. Bulk Pack You can receive a further 7% off your Guaranteed Discount rates (a total of 2% off your Base Rates off your whole bill) by logging in and purchasing the Bulk Pack up front, which is around three months worth of power. This is only available for purchase around once every 60 days. What are Base Rates? Base Rates are our non-discounted rates. Base Rates can be found at powershop.com.au/prices. What do I have to do differently if I am a customer? You can deal with in exactly the same way as you dealt with your previous power company where you get your bill and just pay once a month. If you want to take advantage of all that has to offer, we suggest that you log in to your online account regularly, here you can enter your meter reads, see how much power you ve used or snap up our special offers. How will I receive my bill? We ll send all communications to the email address you used to sign up. What is the Account review coming email? If your account is in arrears at the end of your billing period (highlighted with circles in your online account s Power Organiser), you ll get an email titled Account review coming. This email lets you know what you owe, and gives you two business days to log in and purchase the best discount available to you. If you don t want to log in, that s fine, we ll just send you your Account Review and use your default payment method to cover any amount owing. What is an Account Review? Your Account Review is your bill, it outlines what you used during the month and what you purchased, as well as any amount owing at the end of the month (if any). This is sent once a month and comes with an attached PDF outlining everything that makes up your bill, including usage charges, Daily Supply Charges and other things like solar or concession (if applicable). Variation of tariffs If we vary our tariffs and charges for the sale of energy to you under this contract, we ll give you notice as soon as is reasonably practicable. This will usually be by email, and by no later than the date of your next bill to be impacted by the variation. s In addition to the applicable tariff, you may incur other fees (additional retail charges). We only charge these fees where set out on our fees page powershop.com. au/fees. If no fee is set out for a particular service on our website, then even if our contract or applicable regulations says we may charge a fee for that service, you will not be charged a fee. lock in contracts believes customers should always have choice. You have the right to choose not only to switch to, but also to move away if you wish. has no exit fees or lock in contracts, so you re free to leave whenever you wish (although we hope you won t). offer allows you to purchase all or some of your power from accredited sources for an additional premium. You can purchase packs that are backed by Meridian Energy s Mt Millar and Mt Mercer wind farms - these accredited wind farms produce approximately 600 GWh of renewable energy each year. Anytime Single Rate tariffs: These tariffs consist of a Daily Supply Charge, and then a per kwh energy rate which is the same at all times of the day. These tariffs do not have any Off Peak rates, but Controlled Load Rates may apply. This tariff is the basic network tariff for general usage in most cases. Controlled Load rates: Rates for time switch controlled hot water services, space heaters and other dedicated loads, generally controlled between 0pm and 7am. Controlled Load 2 rates: Rates for time switch controlled hot water services, space heaters and other dedicated loads, generally available for 6 hours including more than 6 hours between 8pm and 7am and more than 4 hours between 7am and 5pm. Time of Use tariffs: These tariffs consist of a Daily Supply Charge, and then a different per kwh energy rate for Peak times, Off Peak times, and Shoulder times. Peak times: between 2pm to 8pm on weekdays; Shoulder: between 7am to 2pm and 8pm to 0pm weekdays, and 7am to 0pm on weekends; and Off Peak: All other times.
