IMPORTANT ADVISORY NOTES The spotlight becomes very hot during use. DO NOT touch lens or block lens area during operation. Light beam is extremely powerful. DO NOT shine directly into eyes. Unit is not waterproof. DO NOT use Spotlight under water or immerse in water. Do not use with dry cell batteries. These batteries may burst and cause injury to person or damage personal property. Do not attempt to face the battery being jumped. Stay away as far as possible from the battery when making the final connection. DO NOT CONNECT TO or jump start a 6 or 24 Volt battery. If battery acid comes in contact with skin or eyes, rinse immediately with water for 20 minutes. Seek medical attentionif redness, irritation or pain is present. DO NOT smoke, use matches, lighters or an open flame near batteries. This product contains chemical substances including lead. Wash hands thoroughly after handling Lead Acid Batteries. Never allow red (Positive) and black (Negative) clamps to come in contact with each other or contact with metal object at the same time. To protect against electrical hazards, do not immerse charger, adapters or unit in water or other liquid. Close supervision is necessary when working near children. Do not use unit for applications other than its intended uses. Always connect the red (+) clamp to the positive battery terminal first. Connect black (-) clamp to the vehicle engine block, or a metal part of the vehicle which is connected to the vehicle main ground system as final connection. Jump start vehicles in a well-ventilated area only. Do not expose the unit to moisture or use it in exceptionally hot onditions. Wear complete eye and clothing protection. Do not touch eyes while working near battery Do not attempt to remove or replace the battery used in thisdevice. When the battery has reached the end of its useful lifetime, take the entire unit to a battery recycling facility. Remove metal and personal jewelry such as:rings, bracelets, necklaces and watches, while working with a lead acid battery. This can produce a short-circuit that may cause severe burns. Never charge or jump-start a frozen battery. Do not operate this device while wearing vinyl clothing. Static electricity may be generated when vinyl clothing is rubbed. This product is not intended for use in the rain or temperatures above 150ºF. Use only the provided chargers, cables and clamps. Unauthorized parts may damage the unit. This product has no consumer serviceable parts except the replaceable fuses. Keep out of the reach of children. Keep battery terminals clean. Be careful to keep corrosion from coming in contact with eyes. Do not let the cords of the unit or jumper clamps get wet. Sheet 3 of 8

Use of DAMAGED or IMPROPER extension cords to charge this unit could result in risk of fire and/ or electric shock. Make certain that the extension cord is in safe and in good electrical condition. Prevent water from entering into the unit housing. Water will damage the internal electronics board. This unit has a built-in lead acid battery. Although this unit arrives partially charged from the factory, it MUST be fully charged before the first use. Recharge the unit after each use or every 3 months to prevent the battery voltage from depleting. ADJUSTABLE HEAD To adjust head angle, gently pull up on rim at bottom. Angle can be adjusted to 4 different positions indicated by a click sound. Do not force head beyond final point. Return head to closed position for storage to prevent damage to mechanism. SPOTLIGHT To operate the spotlight press the switch on handle of your PowerBeam to either the High or Low position. The operation time is up to approximately 35 minutes. Press the switch to O to turn off the spotlight. LED AREA LIGHT Your PowerBeam is equipped with bright LED lights located in the rim. These provide an area light for working and general illumination. To operate, press the switch located on the back of the unit to the LED Area Light position. The area light will operate continuously for many hours on a full charge. Press the switch to the middle position to turn off the LED lights. RED LED EMERGENCY FLASHER Your Power Beam is also equipped with RED LED emergency flashers. To operate, press the switch located on the back of the unit to the RED LED EMERGENCY FLASHER position. USB POWER PORTS: Your Power Beam is equipped with THREE 5 volt 2100mAh USB ports for powering or charging various devices including mobile phones, MP3 players, tablets, e-readers, notebook computers and other equipment with USB capability. To operate, connect the USB cable that was supplied with the device you want to charge to one of the USB ports. Press the button labeled USB once to turn on, press again to turn off when finished. VEHICLE JUMP START INSTRUCTIONS: WARNINGS: Review your vehicle owner s manual instructions before attempting to jumpstart your vehicle. Failure to follow these advisory instructions may result in personal injury and property damage. Use safety glasses to protect your eyes while working near a battery during vehicle jump-starting. Jump start a vehicle in an open area without any type of obstructions. 1. Turn off the vehicle ignition and all accessories (Such as radios, lights, and air conditioners, etc). 2. Apply the emergency brake and put those vehicles with automatic transmission in park position. 3. Determine the polarity of the vehicle battery terminals. The positive (+) battery terminal normally is larger in diameter than the negative (-) terminal. If you are unsure, you must refer to the vehicle owner s manual. 1. Determine whether your vehicle is equipped with a negative or positive grounded system: Most vehicles use this type of system. Positive Grounded battery terminal is grounded to chassis or any other part of the vehicle. If you are not certain of this important information, YOU SHOULD REFER TO YOUR VEHICLE OWNER S MANUAL. 2. Remove clamps from the holders. Never allow clamps (positive & negative terminals) to touch together or contact the same piece of metal to prevent short-circuits. 3. Follow the instructions for a negative grounded system or positive grounded system as indicated below: Negative Grounded System Connect the RED CLAMP (positive +) to the positive terminal of the vehicle battery or the remote positive terminal if available. Connect the BLACK CLAMP (negative -) to the vehicle engine block, or a metal part of the vehicle which is connected to the vehicle main ground system. Do not clamp directly to negative battery terminal, main fuel distribution module or sheet metal parts. The Polarity Protection System GREEN LED is illuminated if the proper connections have been made. WARNING: If RED LED is illuminated, DISCONNECT the booster clamps from battery terminals. Reconnect the booster clamps by reversing the connections to the proper battery polarity. Sheet 5 of 8

Positive Grounded System: Connect the BLACK CLAMP (negative -) to the negative terminal of the vehicle battery. Connect the RED CLAMP (positive +) to the vehicle engine block, or a metal part of the vehicle which is connected to the vehicle ground system. Do not clamp directly to positive battery terminal, main fuel distribution module or sheet metal parts. The Polarity Protection System GREEN LED is illuminated if the proper connections have been made. WARNING: If RED LED is illuminated, STOP and disconnect the booster clamps from battery terminals. Reconnect the booster clamps by reversing the connections to the proper battery polarity. 1. Turn on the Main Power Booster Clamps Switch by rotating the switch to the ON position. 2. Allow 3 to 5 minutes of charge time. It is highly recommended having a second person to assist holding the unit securely in place during the next steps. 3. Start the engine and Stop if the vehicle does not start after 2 to 3 seconds of engine cranking. Wait 2 to 3 minutes then try again. Repeat the above steps several times until the vehicle starts. 4. If the vehicle starts, turn off the Main Power Switch by turning the switch to the OFF position. 5. Disconnect the clamps as far away from the vehicle battery as possible. 6. For Negative Grounded System, disconnect the BLACK CLAMP Negative first and then the RED CLAMP Positive. For Positive Grounded System, disconnect the RED CLAMP Positive first, and then the BLACK CLAMP Negative. 7. Stow the booster clamps into their storage compartment. CHARGING INSTRUCTIONS: USE CAUTION: Prior to charging this device read all the related instructions indicated below. This product may arrive partially charged from the factory. It is highly recommended to fully charge the unit after purchase and before initial use: Make certain that the Power Switch is set to the off position. Do not charge near flammable material, open flames or any location which may accumulate flammable fumes. Make certain that any electrical outlet used to charge this device that is located in a potentially wet or moist area is protected by a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI). Make sure that both booster clamps are securely placed in their designated storage compartments when not in use and during the charging period. Sheet 6 of 8

A. AC Charging At Home with 110 Volt Charger 1. Keep the Power Switch in middle O off position while charging. 2. Insert the AC charger round plug into the Spotlight Charging Port located at the back of the spotlight. 3. Connect the 110 Volt AC Charger into the 110 Volt AC home receptacle. 4. Fully charge the spotlight according to the following charging schedule: First time charge:... 24 hours Recharge and subsequent charge:... 18 hours 5. Unplug the AC charger from the 110 Volt receptacle first and then remove theround plug from the Spotlight Charging Port. B. DC Charging In Your Vehicle with 12 Volt Charger 1. Keep the Power Switch in middle O off position while charging. 2. Insert the 12 Volt DC Charger round Plug into the Spotlight 3. Charging Port located at the back of the spotlight. 4. Connect the 12 Volt DC Charger Plug into the vehicle cigarette lighter or 12 Volt accessory port. 5. Fully charge the Spotlight internal battery for 8 hours while the vehicle engine is running. 6. Unplug the DC charger from the vehicle cigarette lighter or 12 Volt accessory port first and then remove the round plug from the Spotlight Charging Port. 12 VOLT DC CHARGER ADAPTOR FUSE REPLACEMENT: 1. Unscrew the retainer ring at the tip of the 12 Volt DC charger plug. 2. Replace the internal glass fuse with the same grade fuse rated at 2-AMP.
