We have a comprehensive facility incorporating the latest technologies to engineer and manufacture heavy-duty equipment for maximum rigidity and long life. Our engineers, service technicians, and business unit representatives have well over 450 years combined experience, and our shop personnel have on average 25 years of experience each. Koike Aronson/Ransome has a sound balance sheet, showing a healthy cash position with access to multiple untouched lines of credit. This allows us to aggressively support our continuous improvement efforts and to invest in new and better products for our markets. Koike Aronson/Ransome s history goes back to 1946 when Chuck Aronson founded Aronson Machine Company. A welding positioner manufacturer at which he invented and patented positioners that are still used today. In 1969 Airco acquired Aronson Machine Company, then sold it 10 years later to the BOC Group. In 1985, Koike Sanso Kogyo (est. 1918) of Tokyo, Japan, acquired the combined BOC and Aronson to add a world-class welding positioner line to their well-regarded cutting machine line. The result was a single company that supplied the market with the best welding positioners and thermal cutting products in the world. In 2001 Koike Aronson purchased a large competitor based in Houston, TX called Ransome Company. The acquisition allowed Koike Aronson to offer the most durable, safest, and largest variety of positioning equipment ever. Today we are known as Koike Aronson/Ransome, Inc., The Most Complete Line in the Industry.
WATERJET 101 Waterjet cutting has developed into a viable option for many companies. Although waterjet cutting has always had more versatile material cutting ability than any other technology, it was usually considered too slow, inaccurate and too expensive for companies to consider. Some of the more recent developments in technology include higher pressure pumps, software that compensates for taper and quality, and full contouring bevel heads. As a result, waterjet machines are now feasible options for demanding requirements. In job shop environments, the flexibility of waterjet machines is becoming more desirable for companies looking for one machine to expand their capabilities. For this type of use, waterjet machines are being built with a focus on ease of use and cost. As additional companies consider a waterjet machine for the first time, understanding the technology behind waterjet cutting becomes essential. A waterjet machine can be broken down into three main components. The waterjet pump is a hydraulic system that shifts a hydraulic cylinder back and forth. The hydraulic cylinder is connected to plungers that pressurize water cylinders, creating pressure up to 100,000 psi. This pressurized water is delivered through high pressure tubing to a nozzle assembly that focuses the pressure into a precise stream of water. At this point most applications require abrasive to be mixed with the water. The abrasive is delivered through a pressurized hopper system, and then a feed rate assembly measures the desired amount of abrasive to use. It is mixed with the water stream and delivered to the material where the abrasive performs the cutting by eroding away the material. In applications where the material is soft, such as rubber, plastics and food; it is sometimes possible to cut without using abrasive. Finally, the waterjet table will work with a controller to provide motion of the nozzle in order to cut a finished WaterJet Pump Abrasive system Nozzle Assembly part. The capability of waterjet cutting provides the easiest justification for the technology. Waterjet cutting uses the simple physical process of erosion, and as a result virtually any material can be cut. Common Applications: Steel Stone Composites Rubber Plastic Food Acrylics Glass Benefits to Waterjet Cutting: No heat effected zone No crushing of the material/part Finished quality edges Safe to work around Environmentally friendly No changing of consumables to cut different material/thickness

KMT INTENSIFIER PUMPS KOIKEJET machines are built with KMT waterjet systems. Built in Baxter Springs, Kansas; KMT components provide the highest performance with the reliability and quality necessary to safely operate a waterjet system. The KMT Intensifier pumps offer the broadest range in the industry. From the highest pressure available (100,000 psi), to the competitive NEOLine Series, Koike has partnered with KMT to offer extensive machine options. The Streamline PRO series of pumps is the solution for manufacturers requiring the best in performance and value. The ultra-high pressure, 90,000 psi system delivers the highest attainable cut speeds while decreasing the amount of abrasive used for each cut. When compared to 60,000 psi, speeds are 50% - 100% faster while the abrasive usage for each part is reduced by 25%. The Streamline SL-V Plus systems use the latest technology and a very smart design for ease of use, reliability and convenience. With cutting pressure of 60,000 psi, the result is a system that delivers the highest overall efficiency and profit for most waterjet applications. The S-30 & S-50 intensifiers provide the full cutting capabilities of the Streamline SL-V series in a more economical package. This open style pump provides easy access for maintenance. Pump control is fully integrated into the KOIKEJET machine. The NEOLine Pump offers the power of waterjet cutting at 55,000 psi in an affordable package. This package provides users with the best option for an entry level system while still providing the quality, ease of use and low maintenance that comes with an intensifier pump system.
EBBCO FILTRATION SYSTEM Ebbco systems provide the full range of filtration products for any application. From their Abrasive Removal System to the Closed Loop Filtration System, Ebbco offers solutions for abrasive disposal, water purification, water re-use and waste water filtration. The Closed Loop Filtration System filters the overflow water from the waterjet table. This system drastically reduces water consumption, which saves utility costs and prevents the discharge of dissolved solids. This system provides sufficient water volume while eliminating the requirement for water treatment such as softeners, reverse osmosis and de-ionizing water systems. The Abrasive Removal System is designed to continuously remove spent abrasive that collects in the water tank. This system eliminates downtime for clean out, provides a clean and easy method to handle the abrasive and maximizes production. The Overflow-to-Drain filter System is designed to remove abrasive, material particles and other suspended solids in overflow water from the waterjet table. The Reverse Osmosis System provides a solution to maintain waterjet pump life when poor water quality (high total dissolved solids) cannot be sufficiently improved with the installation of a water softener.
