The deniway construction kit Straightforward project engineering, efficient conveying Easy-to-assemble construction kit deniway plate chain conveyors combine the advantages of different conveyor types in a practical construction kit. The entire deniway construction kit is based on modules. The basic components can be used to plan and construct a wide variety of conveyors for unit goods. The plate chain is guided with little friction in a centre channel on rollers and supported at the sides by an aluminium profile. s a result, horizontal and vertical changes of direction, as well curves are possible in a conveyor. deniway conveyors have been top performers in unit goods conveying for decades. They have also proved to be extremely reliable and low on maintenance. Screw connections are used throughout. s a result, assembly is particularly easy and the layout can be altered quickly. Standard components and auxiliary equipment can be added to the conveyors to provide other functions, such as for example merges. Components from other manufacturers can be integrated without any problem. Precision bolt connections allow quick assembly and easy alteration of the layout. 4

Low costs Low maintenance and running costs When the complexity of a layout in standard conveyors increases, costs often rise because several conveyors and different conveyor types are used. With deniway, in one single conveyor you can implement horizontal and vertical changes of direction, as well as sections of the conveyor that incline sideways. Depending on the length, the costs only change disproportionately because only a few drives are needed on long conveyors. Therefore, the more complex a system gets, the more benefits deniway conveyors can offer. When layouts are changed, the length of the plate chain can be adapted. There is no need to change belts. Conveyor systems without a return side can use the entire length of the chain as a conveying line. Consequently these sorts of conveyor configurations produce the biggest cost savings. The conveyors implemented with the deniway construction kit are reliable and require little maintenance. The very low incidence of malfunctions reduces downtimes and running costs. s the main load of the goods conveyed is borne by a robust roller chain, there is no wear and tear from abrasion. The established, state-of-the-art chain technology means lownoise, lubricant-free conveyors. Due to the low number of drives, a number of problems, like synchronisation or transfer points, are avoided. Drive capacity is maximised. Supports Supports Narrow for circular conveying and wide for return conveying. The height of the conveyor is 850 mm. The supports are adjustable in a range of ±100 mm. In straight sections, supports at a distance of max. 2000 mm and in curved sections at distance of 1500 mm. Narrow supports 516 mm; wide supports 616 mm. We recommend their usage. Side supports are supplied in pairs for both sides of the conveyor. Their lengths, radii and direction of curvature are based on the centre guidance channel. The conveyors can be adjusted to handle many different requirements. few basic principles for concept development and assembly Straight lines should be divided up into as many threemetre sections as possible. Divide curves up into as large segments as possible. Largest segment = 90. straight channel, at least L 300 mm, should always be placed between changes of direction or transitions from side curves to positive or negative curves. Channel supports in straight sections every 2 to 2.5 m, in side curves every 1.5 to 2 m (curve dimensions). The supports should be distributed evenly throughout the conveyor. When using our standard supports, the table height is 850 mm. The supports can be adjusted in a ± 100 mm range. The conveyor should include sideways guiders in sections that are over head height. In exceptional cases, some conveyors might require different procedures and equipment that vary from those outlined above. t the project planning and assembly stage of the conveyors, the appropriate statutory regulations and health and safety regulations must be abided by. 29
