Principle of opertion The medium flows through the vlve in the direction indicted by the rrow. The vlve plug determines the cross-sectionl re of flow. The version with bellows sel (Fig. 4) is fitted with test connection to monitor the stinless steel bellows. The vlves cn be equipped with flow divider (u T 8081) for noise reduction. Pressure blncing must be used when high pressures or differentil pressures ct on the plug (Fig. 3). Fil-sfe ction Depending on how the springs re rrnged in the pneumtic ctutor (see Dt Sheets u T 8310 1, T 8310 2, nd T 8310 3), the vlve hs two different fil-sfe positions effective upon ir supply filure. Actutor stem extends (fil-close) The vlve is closed upon ir supply filure.
