Single and multi stage units 50 or 60 Hz. Casing Size and Configurations AK Axial Flow Fans offer a range of diameter sizes from 315 to 2000mm. Casings are constructed from mild steel, hot dip galvanized after manufacture to BS729 as an anti-corrosive measure for longer life. Explosion-proof, increased-safety and non-sparking motors are available as options to fans for operation in zone 1 and 2 hazardous locations where explosive gas-air mixture is likely occur. Anti-Spark Design Used in combination with special motor operating in hazardous environments. It consists of an aluminium tracks positioned along the surface traversed by the impeller blades tips. The track is isolated from the casing by non-conducting material thus preventing the possibility of static electric spark.
